Greetings from a believer in the death - burial - and resurrection as the scripture states. Warning: Tough subject. When I was new to Christain gospel studies, the church asked me not to come back, because in my estimate "the one" us sealed believers should pray for 'once'... Lucifer.' Truly, an enemy and, (prodigal son)? No befriending though! Your nice reply? Maranatha✝

dude seriously I said it before, please don't use keeps as a sponsor for this channel. It is literally against God's will. If God did no want you lose your hair you would not. I understand you need to make some money. I would disagree doing that with God's message, remember the pharisees, but at least don't use keeps as a sponsor not only is it annoying but is bothersome on a channel spreading God's message. Ask yourself would Jesus agree with sending that kind of message. Please rethink your sponsor, maybe look at Joe Kirby for inspiration. Also I really don't know any other christian channel that uses a sponsor apart from maybe trying to sell merch with bible verses. You lost me as a sub

There’s a scripture in Isaiah 46:3-4 that says (Paraphrasing) God made us and He takes responsibility for us, from our mother’s womb to our gray hair. I am not sure if it’s for the Israelites, but as a grafted-in Gentile, I receive this comforting Word, He is my Abba, He made me, planned me, He will not abandon me, He will carry me throughout my whole earthly life to when I am in His Presence eternally ❤

I was two or three only barely able to make sentences. He was very loud and like a father. I knew it immediately as a man first. Then I asked momma if she said my name. Completely silence from her an a no. My father been out of my life since then and before. She was alone driving. I was in the back seat. I said ok afterwards. I never heard it again, nor did I chase it as I grew to rebel. He was male, saying my name as I was his child. So I responded. My name means favored and I am the tribe of Dan. @@markbyfield8190

It distills down to this: Without free will there is no love. Forced love isn't love. God won't force us to love Him. In doing that He showed us His ultimate love. Except unlike a bad friend or a lover, God will still chase us even if we don't want to love Him yet. He gives us the freedom to choose it or not but as we all know, you can't force someone to love you and you wouldn't WANT to make someone feel forced to love you either.

@@CR-yd4qeSo you would rather have God to force you to love Him? God cannot fail if He gives free will. He is not responsible for our sins. We are responsible for our sinful actions. God never forced us to sin, either. We are the ones who rejected Him, He never rejected us first. If a parent warns their child to look both ways when crossing a road, or else they get hit by a car, and the child grows older and doesn’t heed their parents’ warning and gets hit by a car, would that be the parents’ fault? No, it simply isn’t. God warns us that if we keep rejecting Him and His goodness, then we’re going to hell. That’s a fair warning. There’s always a consequence to our actions. It seems you don’t believe in consequences, and that people should just do what they want.

But if your imaginary sentient sandwich said “I don’t want to be grilled for eternity “ just because you made me doesn’t mean I have no rights. This kind of philosophy was where the idea that wives and children are property comes from. “I made you therefore you are my property”. 🐹

@@CR-yd4qe fair point, and it does show how all analogies ultimately fall short. I think the better (but still not perfect) analogy than a sandwich is a young man who sees a beautiful woman that he wants to date, but she refuses. He tries to woo her, but ultimately she says, "No." What is the man supposed to do: force her to love him? Such a thing is not possible! No, eventually after she rejects him enough he will stop trying to form a relationship with her. God made human beings to share his love with them. Some human beings refuse to partake in this. Being out of God's presence is what Hell is. It is described as "the outer darkness....a place where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth." Btw, the sad truth is that if there is no God, then there is no purpose or right to life: we simply poof out of existence. No one has an inalienable right to anything.

My reply would of been: I made the sandwich with peanut butter because I created it with my vision of true culinary perfection. I wouldn’t have the peanut butter sandwich altered, mixed, or tainted by the jam. The Peanut Butter sandwich doesn’t need the Jam in order to be beautiful or wonderful in any way. The Peanut Butter sandwich is divine, perfect, delicious, and remarkable all by itself. The Peanut Butter sandwich never asked me to make it. The Peanut Butter sandwich might not have even wanted me to take it. However, I made it anyway out of love. I believe the Peanut Butter sandwich is remarkable and I wanted to share how remarkable it is with the rest of the world. The Peanut Butter sandwich may not even realize it, but a world with out it would be a sad world. The existence of the Peanut Butter sandwich will have a far reaching impact on the world then it will ever know. An when the Peanut Butter sandwich gets sad that people don’t want to eat it due to being allergic or due to them wanting to eat Ham sandwich or Tuna sandwich. In those moments of sadness, That is when I love the Peanut Butter sandwich even more. My love for it is unwavering because it is special to me. Yeah, I think that is my answer to the question.

It's a good point. But I suppose God didn't create humanity in the first place with the intention of the possibility that they would suffer eternal damnation. That then leads to the question why did God not just start over?.. but I suppose the whole point of having humans and not pets is that we have free will and the capacity to choose Him or ourselves? As much as I respect Dr Turek, he also didn't answer the implied sub-question the second question has, which is how can you settle all those who haven't heard of Jesus and therefore didn't have the ability to be saved? People were living and dying all over the world for thousands of years before Jesus, and in the years after Jesus, but before his word was spread across the world. It seems at surface level that those people are doomed for damnation and don't get a choice in the matter, which seems difficult to come to terms with.

But God is the key who holds everything together. Going from the saying darkness is the absence of light, one can see the importance of light appearing in the darkness. God creates order out of chaos and upholds everything good, he is the the corner stone, beam, pillar that holds up the universe earth heavens etc. The choice we are given is to be used to choose him. If otherwise, then one falls out of range of the light and into darkness and chaos one remains.

If evil has always existed then God is evil since He’s the only eternal being.. Evil couldn’t have existed with God because God is Holy, evil only exists because God created the possibility for it and He did for His own glory in the end.. That’s why in the new heavens and earth, there will be no more evil, God will wipe it out with the possibilities..

Because our free will has already been exercised in our choices to follow God or not. So by the time your with God or in the lake of fire, your free will choice has already been expended, as you've already reached your destination Analogy: if theres 2 doors, and you pick the left one. Once your in there you no longer have the choice anymore. As its already expended. So, his answers are not bs, they are more theories, based on possibilities to be true. Like asking what is heaven like. We can tell some things that the Bible makes clear, but without experiencing it, we can not say what it smells like etc. But, he did a good job, with the limited information that we have. To me, where did sin come from? God is a Person with a will. He can not be anyone else. When someone with a free will (satan) goes against God's will, this becomes sin. And if that little thing (sin) grows, it would create many that could nit dwell indefinitely in God's presence. If you were forced to live with someone who believed opposite from you, and taught others around him to also believe opposite from you. How long could you live in the same room? And because satans view would keep others away from God, and Goodness, it had to be punished (judged). To me, this makes sense. Cause, and effect. What a person sows, that he will also reap. If he sows good seed, he will reap eternal life. If he sows evil, he will reap destruction. And unbelief is evil (see Hebrews 3).

The answer to how long I can live with the person that has opposite view from me is forever. Though it will be stressful and annoying sometimes I will be okay with living with him/her. God on the other hand can't tolerate this, he did something a man would do. He basically deletes the rebels. No forgiveness, he just sends them into hell. This is the God you serve. You claim he is of love, but the same book you get this from says otherwise. Oh, he is forgiving, he is actually not unless you give him some animal or human blood. I need to share something on the topic "I didnt chose to exist". My answer is: Maybe you did, maybe we all did. This answer is my extension of an explaination I have heart on the topic FREEDOM OR PREDESTINATION. This theory moved the free will before our creation. God knows how we will choose, so he created our lifes according to our free will. Our entire life is created by our character and free will. God lets it happen. The ultimate connection of free will and predestination. Like parents who know their kid wont be perfect and they still create it, so God lets us live. Back to the "I didnt choose to exist" dilemma according to this theory. I think, the soley fact that we exist, shows us that we wanted to exist. Maybe like God knows everything about us, he knew that we wanted to exist. He wouldnt push us into existence. I think the man in this video is happy to exist even if he talks that way. Maybe we decided to live and God granted us this gift. Maybe we did choose at some point that God can create us. Interesting? Oh yeah!!

That means that through gods wisdom he knew that there would be the chance through free will that there could be the sin and evil that we face today and there would be many loss to sin. But he also saw the absolute wonderfulness in those of us that are one with him through Jesus, he always new we would need a savior and that this savior would be a sacrifice that would be deemed enough by the father to exalt us along with Jesus to the right hand side of the father in righteousness for those who believe on the one whom was sent. 4:21 her question is sometimes called the paradox of choice. If I have the ability to only choose righteousness, do I have the ability to choose at all. If there’s only one option available to me, do I have any options at all. Here’s the funny thing about this paradox, by giving someone free will, God gave him the ability to choose to obey or disobey, the. Existence of free will create the ability to rebel, but you have to remember just because someone has the ability to rebel does not mean they have a right or a responsibility to it, and it does not put the rebellion on the creator or give her a free will because if it’s God’s fault, then the creature doesn’t have free will

When we "get to heaven", by the action of the Holy Spirit, we will have the Lord's character formed in us. So we will share His choice. There will be no way of choosing anything else, and yet, it will be a free choice. The love of God constrains us (2Co 5).

I’m a Christian but I’ve been doing a lot of critical thinking here lately and really challenging my faith, if it cannot stand what do I really have right? On that second question, with Frank’s analogy, it’s basically like “ believe in God or else” or “accept Christ or else “ or else what? The boat you’re in will sink and you’ll die right? Of course most people will get on the boat because they don’t want to sink or die. You could tell them to believe in the tooth fairy and they’ll probably hop on so they don’t die. Not really a good analogy. We apparently have a sin “problem “ that we didn’t create and we also did not choose to be born but the solution to the problem ( if you believe there IS a ‘problem’) is a solution in which you’re almost given no choice but to accept..if you want to ‘live’. On top of that once we become believers, we have Christ’s imputed righteousness which ‘makes’ us holy (in Gods sight) but it is impossible for us to actually BE “holy” in a practical sense, in this flesh, because of what we are at our core, sinners. Why would I ask or expect a dog to be anything more than a dog? Why would it be asked that anything be anything OTHER than what it was created to be? THIS I struggle with,…

It really comes down to a matter of, do you want very temporary instant gratification, or unbelievably extreme delayed gratification? But because of God's love, and the natural dynamics of good and evil, even the temporary pleasures grow sour, and end in destruction. This is to guide us towards the light, to him, that we could have life more abundantly.

While that may be true, I don’t think that’s what question was really getting at. It doesn’t matter whether he actually prefers being created versus not, but, when your creator creates you and demands your unconditional love and worship otherwise damning you with eternal hellfire it begs the question as to why you would be created. An all knowing god also forces you into this position knowing fully what your ultimate fate will be. I don’t think this serves to disprove the existence of a god, but highlights the nature of the Christian god from a different perspective. Paradox aside, if he had the choice to be created versus being forced into the proposition above, maybe he would have preferred not to be created. Similarly, Frank’s analogy really does not line up with the situation that humans are put in if the Christian god is true. It would be more accurate if the people that were offering to save you were also the ones who threw you overboard to begin with. There’s just a bit of irony in that situation.

  • @itzamedio5427

    @itzamedio5427

Well that doesn't sound like the Christian God at all. First the Christian God does not demand our unconditional love. We wouldn't be able to give it in the first place. Second the Christian God does not damn us to hell for not loving Him; He damns us to hell because we have committed crimes worthy of such a punishment. However unlike any human judge, God does not deal with us according to what we deserve because he gave His own Son the death penalty in our place so that we might be saved from our proper sentence. WE are the ones who throw ourselves overboard, but it is God who does not deal with us according to what we deserve and begs us to take the life boat He has provided. God knows whether you will or won't choose rescue but the choice is still up to you.

Saying that the universe contains everything doesn't explain how it all got there, including the universe itself and even including existence as a concept. Saying that the universe is everything isn't enough to justify atheism, because it doesn't explain much. It just explains WHAT is, not HOW it is or WHY it is.

@almightyzentaco If God hasn't always existed, then there would be no existence, because there would be nothing to create God. God is 'eternal,' because there has to be something before everything, but God himself acts outside of time, space and matter, which is what existence is. Space, matter and time can't create space, matter and time before space, matter and time have been created, and so God created space, matter and time. We can't comprehend the nature of God, but him always existing is the explanation for everything, because if he didn't always exist, that means something was before him and would lead you to believe that there are an infinite amount of gods creating each other...which then leads to the same question of "who created the first creator?" God being eternal is the explanation.

I didn't ask for it it was given to me and personally I am grateful for it. Given a choice between life and never existing I will always choose life. I know I have not dealt with even modest hardship in my life compared to those of the past so you might think it is easy for me to say I choose life. However I have no doubt in my mind that those that live harder lives than I, receive all that much more joy out of the good times they are a part of. I think the vast amount of people would agree with me and say they would choose the gift of life, only the foolish would choose to never exist.

But It’s says in Matthew 7 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? God is perfect . Blameless . Sinless. Holy. And Sovereign so he has all the rights to judge. Also consider, we hire / elect judges right. If you ever sued me for damage to your person or property , would you not want a righteous judge? Humans can be fickle and mean and selfish at times, we have all done this . That’s why 1. We judge (too)harshly and sometimes hypothetically. 2. Why we need Jesus and that higher moral standard to live by so we can be better.

If the latter (which is consistent with his repeated assertion that the claimant always carries the initial burden), then Turek will not be able to persuasively broaden the intended audience of NT authors and story characters beyond the 1st century contemporaries they were obviously addressing, i.e., when I refuse to bother with the NT on the grounds that no case can be made that anything it says was ever intended for anybody living in the 21st century, I'm not violating any canon of common sense, historiography, or hermeneutics...and therefore such refusal cannot rightly be labeled "unreasonable". Most of the answers to these two questions are located in the book of Enoch. Ethiopians are the only group of Christians/Hebrews and who kept careful record of every single book of the Bible ever written since the beginning they had 86 books in their Bible. We only have 66 books, so the book of Enoch, jubilees and other texts in the apocrypha go into great details about angels and the fallen angels. It also explains clearly the free will of angels has sons of God and our free will. It also explains the different levels and layers of heaven and the different realms and which angels are able to access based on how they were created. Angels were not made in God's image . Lucifer was jealous of us and rebelled after man was created, because we're made as avatars not angels and we are beings that can go all the way to heaven and be with God right now and forever. We can access frequencies through christ consciousness , prayer , thought and the word. That's why the word says that we are vessels and temples for the most high God to abide and operate in and through us giving us power over the devil. This was a big problem for Lucifer.

Not existing sucks. You couldn’t say you like it more because you wouldn’t be able to express yourself. Life is a gift. That’s why it’s called the gift of life. That is why there’s other people out in the middle of nowhere, striving to survive. They could at any moment- not exist, but they want to live. Even in the worst conditions; they choose to live. The only thing they have is a stick and a rock, and they continue living. Not existing is a demonic attack. That is the devil filling your thoughts with evil. It goes against you and God. When God gives us free-will to choose He goes to the extent of allowing us free reign to even choose to believe He exists or not, He does not limit our choices and therefore does not limit our choice to disobey Him. Just seeing how people are today makes me think man if we just all Love are neighbors and responded respectfully to one another like scriptures shows us it would be an amazing world.🙂👍

He gives you the choice to not be with him, but if he tells you one is an eternity of hell and the other is eternal happiness, is he really giving you a choice? Freedom does not exist outside of the principle and the laws God set. So, the only real choice God really is giving people is the choice in how they find God. Also, since God predestined that all men will find God, ultimately, you will find God and he will wait until you willingly choose God. A billions years means nothing to God, he has already waited longer than that. He is timeless. See, the only purpose of people to exist is to bring joy to God. Everything else doesn't matter. You can hate God now for whatever resentment you have. In the end it will not matter, it will simply only take longer.

There is a verse in the Bible that calls some angels elect, so that means that God’s grace was working to save some angels. Although they cannot be redeemed, God’s grace apparently can prevent them from sinning.

Apparently, there are two primary freedoms of choice, both good and bad. Bad always coming from fear and Love always coming from good. The Divine would never choose bad because it has no fear, and not because it does not have a free choice to do otherwise. Hence, there is no free Will in choosing bad. LovingWill

Not sure his last analogy works for the question. The question is more you have parents and they tell you to obey them in all things or else they will torture you. Or if you don't worship them, they will scuttle the boat. Or course if you have no choice, you might take the safeboat, but you will want to get away as soon as possible and certainly won't be grateful or love them because they don't deserve it. But the meta question is if someone tells you they are your real parents and ask you to be grateful to them otherwise they will torture you unless you give them everything you have. I think most people would move away from those people that act like bandits. If that's his answer, it's probably the result he will get. If he does not see the moral problem, he is blind.

Well no one should preach that bc that’s not what God said. But I know that’s how some view it and teach it . Hell is a consequence . His analogy works fine. Bc that’s how it’s written in scripture . It’s the getting people to realize they are actually drowning that’s the hard part. The Bible also explains who the “parent” is and how Good He is has been and is and what awaits them should they choose to be adopted.

For the first question (1:55), Frank says, “We don’t really know - the Bible doesn’t tell us.” Kudos to Frank - that’s really where answers to questions like these need to be left. And although I sincerely appreciate DDW’s apologetic reflection (the marriage reminder resonates and helps my journey), the fallen Angel stuff appears fantastical; stories made up by a population to help guide our evolving sense of morality. It’s served an important purpose but only takes us so far.

I don't agree with that. If people that were once in heaven can fall into sin, then how are you save if you enter heaven. There is still a chance of you sinning the presence of the god. It is a good question one that Franks fails to answer.

@@joeleniola9140 angels and humans aren't the same. the bible alludes to the fact that we will be above the angels when resurrected. it also tells us that us as humans mostly wrestle with sin because of our flesh. The spirit is willing but the body is weak. so when our flesh is no more, our desire to sin will go away with it. currently in our bodies it feels good to sin because it is the nature of our flesh. this is why we are seen as enemies of God. because we actually take pleasure in doing what he doesn't like, it's a desire we have naturally. in our new bodies it won't feel good and we may have the option to, but we genuinely won't want to. walking fully in his spirt means that what is displeasing to God will now naturally be displeasing to us.

@@brolylegendaryssj I hope you know you are saying gibberish. Obviously, humans and angles are different. The angels are spirit just like God and we will be too in heaven. right? If those that once spirit can still sin, then that is a problem. If those in God's presence before had sin, then we can all sin in heaven. Lucifer, Adam, and Even they did not even know what sin is and they sinned. My point is that being in God's presence does not mean you will not sin in heaven. It does not make any sense, but that is expected since it is man-made fiction.

@@joeleniola9140 You aren't reading my answer fully. And I see you are confused by what I'm referring to by the spirit of that scripture so I'll refrain from using it again. You think I'm saying we are different than angels as in just right now. I'm saying after resurrection we will be different from angels too. We will be above the angels. We aren't going to become angels, we will be above them to the point where we can judge them. We are coheirs to the kingdom alongside Christ. We will not be the same as the angels. Adam and Eve did not have to know what sin is to sin. Just like you don't have to know what a crime is to commit one. But that's not the point. The point is about them being tempted. You are tempted by things you have an actual desire for. If neither of them wanted to go against God or be like God themselves then they couldn't be tempted in the first place. The point that you are missing when reading is the lack of desire. We sin because we have an actual desire to. Our new bodies will not have this desire. Meaning you CAN sin but simply don't WANT to. Everything in your body will be completely against it.

@@brolylegendaryssj Will we be spirits in heaven? If the answer is yes then I am saying that we can still sin. Not only that we most likely will sin. This is based on the angels sinning before. The angels worship God and they know of hi glory and all. Lucifer was well aware of this why would he sin? When we get to heaven we will also be able to see God's glory but we can still sin. I point out Adam and Eve because they good and they did not know what sin is. You cannot say lucifer, Adam and Eve were jealous because they don't know what that is. This is where it all falls apart. It is either God created sin which is what make sense to me. The other option being the devil or sin created sin. This is not possible because the idea of sin was not known to those in the beginning except for God. They cannot sin because sin did not exit to them. The sin Adam commits was disobedience but he does not know what that is. He can't know what that is. Only God knows that. Him doing it and never being inform by God that it is a sin shows God was okay with sin manifesting. He was okay with it because he made it. Sin was an option because God made sin. If my mom cooked and I see rice, I cannot just eat chicken unless she made chicken. This is just my thoughts on Christianity. I don't believe any of this exists because there is no evidence for it. I am just pointing out that even if it does it does not make sense.
