There is no rock and roll hall of fame. There is a music hall of fame. The actual rock and roll hall of fame exists in the hearts and minds of the true fans of rock and roll. The simple fact that someone as amazingly talented as Frank Marino wasn't inducted many years ago is all the evidence you need to prove my point. ✌️ ☮️ ❤️🎵🎸🎶🇺🇸🔥

All of us musicians from the Montreal scene (past and present) remain so proud of our hometown boy.

Frank's voice is just as hypnotic as his guitar.

How in the world did I ever miss this guy? I just heard about him! He is amazing!

i saw him way back in the 1978 at the Cal-Jam 2 he blew my mind with being a little Jimi Hendrix n Robin Trower Blend..but his voice and melodies were steller live.

I paid to see Nazareth because Mahogany Rush was opening. They did not make the show, never had another chance. I saw Nazareth, fine....

This whole show is a guitar tour de force marathon of unbelievable magnitude. Frank has always seemed to be forgotten when those " best" lists are compiled but those of us who "know" have him on ours. Truly one of the greatest of all time, end of debate.

If you haven’t seen it yet, Zakk Wylde posted a few days ago his 11 greatest guitarists list and he had Frank Marino on it.

I wouldn't say Frank is under rated or unappreciated i would say he's not a commercial sell out. Musicians appreciate him just fine.

Man oh man. I've never heard a bad Marino song.

This has to be slickest, classiest rock song I've heard in a long long time. That crescendo solo, it's intense but very lean, minimalistic. It's very very tasteful, mature. Not to mention the gritty devil in the main riff. I am new to Frank Marino. But I've listened to this now 500 times and it just doesn't get old.

@@songsabai3794 Opinion granted the truth Eddie had nothing on Frank but maybe speed , When VH showed up Marino was already a legend. There are no real comparisons as music is art not competition. Eddie was great Frank was & is still great .

@NATURAL SPIRIT Same here. I was a fan in the 1970s. Got to see him live in 1983, sitting a little more than an arm length from his mic stand. He tossed his pick to me before leaving the stage. Frank's massive guitar and vocal talents have him firmly among the greatest of all time in my estimation.

I saw a large number of concerts in the 70's and 80's. Frank Marino and MR I saw in 1978. One of the top 3 concerts I ever witnessed. A true master who just mesmerizes a crowd. I was transfixed the whole concert. .

I remember seeing Frank Marino on TV at the age of 14 and telling my dad come look at this hippie play guitar. He was doing Johnny be good I remember thinking to myself this guy is better than Jimi Hendrix. My Father even said that guy is really good. Coming from my Father was a big surprise because he was very picky about music and musicians. Then a friend of mine had an album by him and after listening to reflections of War completely sealed the deal for me, then Frank became a drag racer. He had some of the most awesome machines. Turn forward to the 80s I was camping in the mountains of New Mexico my friend brought his Boombox and we listen to Frank Marino at Night Under the Stars in the mountains and the song that stands out is strange dreams. Laying on that Rocky ledge watching three-dimensional pattern of stars actually seeing the rotation of the Earth listening to strange dreams was one of the most moving experiences of my life. I am here to personally thank you Frank for sharing your God-given talents and making the world a better place. I love it when these so-called shredders approach me I'm a guitarist myself and I tell them they don't know anything and put on some Frank Marino and watch jaws drop to the floor. They sure do mention God an awful lot after listening to you 😂 God bless you Frank Marino.

i met frank 2x in the 1980s.i was star struck. he was the nicest person to me.. a great player.

If you’re a fan of Frank and you don’t own the dvd this is from then you are missing out. It’s my favorite concert dvd in my collection.

Under appreciated guitar maestro, get chills every time I experience his mastery and messaging. Rock guitarist all time top ten.

I think I was about 19 or 20 years old when I was first introduced to Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush, my best friend at the time gave me the album, ‘Tales of the Unexpected’. I was astounded by the guitar work and I was hooked! And you’re still just as genius on the superb leads that blend and compliment your songs. Thanks for letting me re-live those days of the late ‘70s!!! Frank Marino you are one of my favorite artists/songwriters ever!

I'll never forget we were that impressed by Frank Marino and the Mahogany Rush that we absolutely had to cover the 1976 song 'The Answer'... if interested check out 'Sensomania - The Answer' on KZread.

Don’t know how I missed this guy, I was into Gary Moore for years. Frank is a fantastic guitarist and vocalist just beautiful.

So damn good. The Agora in CLV??? How did I kiss this show? Talk about an artist that never got his fair share of respect. Total hidden gem that needs a resurgent like asap!

I gave all my albums to my niece about 15 years ago,she's 35 now,. the only song she asked about was this song,and it was a big collection,. Love you Frank !!

I’m glad Frank released this. There’s so much on the DVD. People really need to own it! 6 amazing hours!!!

I got to see Mahogany Rush at a Diamond Head Rock Festival, in Waikiki, around 1973. At the time, everyone was comparing Frank Marino to Hendrix, but his style was distinctive. That's just how creative and progressive Marino's sound was at the time.

Unbelievable! Not only is he an amazing guitarist, but he still sings beautifully as well.

Pressing like doesn't due this justice. This guy is the essence of guitar rock. From the tone on that guitar, his smooth playing, cool voice, and the well-seasoned leather! One of the greats in my opinion. Gotta enjoy him while he's with us. He's not getting any younger. Peace.

I saw Frank for the first time in Orlando ca. 1978 at a "Super Bowl of Rock" show, headlined by Aerosmith with Cheap Trick, Blackfoot, Nugent, etc. It was like a 12 hr stadium show and Marino came on just after dark. He was easily the highlight of the entire show, guitar wise, mesmerizing the crowd for a long set. Great to see him sounding even better in 2022!! ❤

Growing up in Little Rock I was the only one of my group of friends that had his albums.

He's one of the few complete Artists! His playing, his voice, those melt into a perfect couple and this couple also melts into a true marriage with his music and band. Adorable, i discovered him late and i'm oh so glad i did. Steers me thru difficult times and makes me feel allright.

Watch this dvd at least once a month. Some of the best money I’ve ever spent.If you truly love Rock n Roll this man has to be one of the greatest guitarists ever to perform live. Simply a master of his craft !!!!!!!!

Just had this track on repeat in my theatre room on a nine foot screen and was absorbed by the words and guitaring absolutely fantastic brought a tear of delight to my eyes god bless this marvel of a man.

Only Frank can slap single coils to a Gibson SG. Awesome song, awesome sound.

Saw him in concert early 2000s Indianapolis, that is when I became a fan . He did not disappoint, To say that he was Exceptional Lead guitarist would be a understatement. His music was not in the mainstream! Great playing live even if you never heard all his songs.

It's criminal that you have 10k followers. Love your work, your tone, phrasing, singing. This is such a great recording and the guitar following your vocals is so badass. Thank you for sharing.

Such a coincidence. One of very few strange dreams from last night have haunted me all day. In my dream I met a very old friend who took his life many years ago. Knowing Frank can no longer play is a crime against humanity...but he is such a cool guy and so knowledgeable I would be willing to take a week off of work, drive to Montreal, take him to a concert and just listen to him break down the musicianship of the band he is seeing. Dude is a legend.

You really get the vibe that Frank's guitar is a full expression of who he is. You don't see this often. When you do, you know, and that feeling stays. Mastery never sounded so good.

Delighted to have made the discovery of his music, just recently.A bit like being on a grail quest,the discoveries you make along the way are the ones you remember the most! Super music,melodic a type of quasi blues guitar music alongside effective vocals and reflective words through out!

Love his stuff!! Ever since I bought the albums, Child of the novelty and Strange Universe I was instantly shot into the strange world of The King who Stole The Universe and never returned and still lovin' it!!!

Been a disciple of Franks music for decades, my largest guitar influence. I am always chasing his clean tone and the effects of course. From a players point of view, his composing and use of scales are way beyond many others! Hope your doing well Frank.
