The bit I really liked about that was wheelchair seats you can transfer to from a wheelchair on a train. On Eurostar they seem unable to do that and I've spend far too many hours with my neck wobbling all over the place.

I am traveling by plane to Scotland on the 17th. I am very nervous being in a wheelchair and having a service dog. So far booking has gone well and now I will have to see. I am able to use a Walker like you, but have to use a chair. Any pointers would be great. I'm spending the week in Edinburgh. Thank you for the video.

I've simply given up flying now... I'm full time powerchair paraplegic and my chair got damaged so many times that the anxiety levels I suffer as a result outweigh the purpose of my travel... I simply stay in the UK now.. xxx

Never let anyone or anything stop you. It might take longer but remember in the UK you still have some international ferry services as well as the Eurostar to get you into Europe and their train systems. Maybe coming to visit in Oz might be a tad more problematic but you still have options!

When are people going to understand how necessary the equipment we use is? Fortunately, it wasn't his wheelchair that went missing, because wheelchairs are expensive.

Pour guys trying to help and get abused. Not a good image if people need extra help and the staff are scared to help because they were abused for trying to help

NatCav8 It’s far from abuse. It’s called being assertive about others respecting your personal space. This is something that those of us who use a wheelchair face daily; can you imagine having someone touch/push/pull/move you without your consent and not feel frustrated about it?

@@LizzyFerretOfficial maybe but still try and be polite. All it will do is put disability in a negative light for that staff member. It can be as simple as saying no thank you, it might be annoying but just remember they just want to help and they might not know your personal limits. Nothing is more annoying and confusing trying to help someone and you get abused, to me that would be more frustrating. Just find a polite way to say no

When you say "stop doing that" and they continue to do it, and then you have to be more firm, it's not abuse. You have to assert yourself. He said several times to not touch the chair and they touched the chair. Also, where did the staff get abused? In what way?
