He reminds me of Paul Whitehouse's character Ron Manager on The Fast Show, going on to different subjects. A very funny guy

Agree. I have a love/hate relationship with him. He made Quo and destroyed Quo.

@@mikeb3268 Be glad he's still around. Also Francis didn't destroy Quo. All four of them did. They were twenty years together before the first one (Spud) left (well, ofcourse Roy Lynes already left in 1970)! Most marriages don't survive 20 years. Drugs, booze and being on the road for 20 years killed the old band.

I know what you mean however 'blues singer Fat Arse Wobbler' is funny

He seems quite insecure and spiky in most interviews. It makes him oddly dismissive of a lot of Quo achievements. I 'blame' him for lightening the band and adding all the naff piano to their sound.

@@Meddled Totally agree. His humour is spiked with an underlying nastiness..I recall an interview with his wife from the 1970s who declared him single minded and selfish.A brilliant guitarist and superb writer in the 70s,but after that his tendency to move towards pop and soft stuff put me off the band

He seems incapable of sticking to one topic for long to deliver a comprehensible answer.

I really enjoyed seeing him on his current solo tour but I wish he wouldn't try to be funny and come out with stupid inuendo's. Like most of his KZread interviews he goes off on a waffling tangent. Just answer the question Francis!
