FR1 Deluxe Intuition liner on 90/110 Endless frame

Ойындар

Very pleased to give you my opinion on the fr1 deluxe equipped with the ultra cushy intuition liner. if you have arthritic feet or uncooperative feet these liners are for you. I have them riding pretty in pink on the cyber punk color way from endless frames. I also rant about the sizing of hard shell boots and the importance of sizing down for responsiveness.

I love my endless 100s on my FR1, I like my stock liner, very comfortable although I would like to have an intuition. I just don't like the pink frames on yours, but that's me. Side note, wanted undercover wheels, but using matter superjuice 100mm wheels and they work awesome.

Luckily the pink were a limited edition, so you won't have to worry 😉. If I have my choice, hydrogens from rollerblade would be under my frames always. But these Bont wheels really have held up to a lot of constant abuse. Getting ready to put black endless 100/110 on black fr1s hopefully next week.

Thanks for the vid, did you consider the 90 ES frame? My feet are the exact same size as yours and ordered the longer version. Hoping it will work well for me.

I am contemplating between getting the 90/110 Endless frame on my FR1 2018 model or the 90/110 Endless Trinity from my Powerslide 3x110. I have intuition liner which i add on both boots. I prefer the feeling of the boot on the FR but i feel maybe the trinity will give me better stability. any thoughts?

Thanks for watching! Out of curiosity which model powerslide skate do you have for the trinity mount? Personally I think anything with a trinity mounting system is definitely more stable than a standard two point mount. However I'm beginning to wonder how much difference there is between a flat mount/UFS and the raised heel with most powerslide and FR skates. In my opinion however I would base my decision on which skate you like wearing most. Have you also considered one of the 4 or 5 wheel frames? Those are also extremely fun 😃

Hi, great video, thanks for sharing. I am interested in a FR1 Deluxe Intuition, I would like to know how many mm or cm does a Shell 8 (EU42-43) vs Shell 10 (EU43.5-44.5) have? My foot is 28.5-6 cm long and 10.5 wide, and I am concerned that the Shell 10 is the same for a size EU45-46, it would be too large after the liner breaks. For that reason, I would like to know the length of these Shells in case I should decide on the Shell 8 even if I have to change the Intuition liner for a size M (10.5cm). Thanks in advance for the orientation.

Hey man, great video! Thank you for making this. I've got 28cm size feet. Ideally I guess i'd need the same size skates as yours (eu44). However theirs only size eu45/46 in the UK currently, no new deliveries until July apparently. I've heard eu44 has the same shell size as 45/46 (shell10 with the deluxe intuition sizes) - Do you think I can get away with eu45/46 and this should be fine? Maybe add an insole? I'm not sure until I get it in my hands. What do you reckon? If 45/46 is a touch bigger, keep them? Otherwise waiting that long isn't mega fun. Thanks!

Thank you for watching!! So in my opinion it always comes down to comfort over performance. A tighter skate will allow for more responsive and what I can only describe as ground control. With thick socks and a insole I think you would get very close to the fit you're looking for. Also another option a depending on you're determination is proskatersplace.com usually has amazing costumer service and may be able to help you score that right fit. And not to take anything away from the craftsmanship of the intuition liner, but the original FR liner is extremely comfortable and you might be able to score a pair on Amazon depending on availability.

@@illegalminor777 Hey buddy thank you for responding! Is there a big difference between the Intuition liners and the original FR ones? Is it worth getting a skate in my size (with original liner) or get the Intuition skate that's a size up?

  • @illegalminor777

    @illegalminor777

@@EdanC1 in my personal opinion, the original FR1 is a beast workhorse of a skate. I could wear it to bed they're so comfortable. I always think it's better overall to wear appropriate sizing to avoid blisters and ankle fatigue either way. While the intuition liners are extremely nice, I don't agree they are worth paying extra for unless you are getting a custom liner directly from the website.

@@illegalminor777 Thank you for your feed, super appreciate it! You're totally right, it's better to get something that fits correctly. I'm gonna see if I can try the eu44 standard, and the 45/46 deluxe, see how they compare. I've got a strong feeling I'll stick with the standard ones - If you rate them, then I'm happy. Plus, could always in future buy the intuition liner in the future and fit them in? Any major differences between the two, design-wise? Or just a different liner and a different frame?

@@EdanC1 no major differences that I've seen besides upgraded buckles and straps. It's lighter with the upgraded frame and liner but otherwise it's the same. Also I uploaded a new video getting closer on the intuition liner vs the regular FR1. It should be up shortly, thank you again so much for your questions hope this helps.

Does anyone have an issue with the tongue of intuition liner dropping down into the boot? I uses the lace loop on the tongue and left still drips down.

I haven't had that issue. However instead of the lace loop try putting the lace behind and around the tongue before knotting them.

My feet are exactly 26cm, Wich size you think I should choose? I really was thinkin on the 40.5-41.5 but on my local skate shop told me my size would be 39-40 I can't try them on becouse they are only on request. I have a pair of Flying eagle f6 on size 41 which fit me perfectly at the begining but once they broke i felt them just a little bit loose for what i use a thick sock to compensate. I also have a pair of twister edges on 8.5 which I felt too tight at the begining but after they broke in the fit perfectly.

So I was checking on skatepro.com for a better answer. In my opinion it looks like a foot measuring exactly 26cm will equal to 260mm or 10.2 inches. Have you also determined which model FR you will buy? Between regular, deluxe and Igor there is a difference in overall fit. I will say for me personally I'm closer to a 11 than a 10.5 but the 10.5 fits perfectly.

@@Chrno404notfound that's awesome!! As I often say if you are willing to sacrifice a little comfort going with a exact true to fit size is always best. Especially with the intuition liners, getting a true to fit size is very easy. However, I will say as I have stated before I personally prefer the fit and feel of the regular FR liners as I find them more cushioned. Trust your instincts on the sizing if you've properly measured. However if your local skate shop can order them easily and handle returns, do the extra work find the perfect fit. I really hope this helps, we can only pray the Industry sees a need for more local skate shops stocking inline gear. Thank you for the subscription as well my friend!!!

@@illegalminor777 Just for an update, I ended up ordering the 39-40 ones, they arrived a couple days ago and they were and absolute pain on my toes, it's a little bit weird cause the liner fit me like a glove and almost seems like the shell is too small for this liner size, the skate shop told me that they could order the next size (another 3 weeks of wait) try them and then choose which ones too keep, but the told me that if the 39-40 liner fit well it's just a matter of breaking them in even though they seemed too small at first try and that size is still what they recomend for me.

@@Chrno404notfound I'm so sorry you haven't been able to get your setup on the street yet. There are twoonly option if they are too snug. You can obviously return the skate for one size up, which is the easiest and safest option. Or you can follow specific instructions on heat molding your boot and liner if it is compatible. Truly it is a adventure in sizing. I spent a significant amount finding exactly the boot and liner I was happiest with. I really hope any of this helps.
