    To anybody wanting to order these, its very important to downsize. When you get them, they're supposed to be super tight and it's not a big deal if your toes are touching the front, since 1. Once you're skating, you will be in bent knee position, thus your toes will get pushed back and 2. The liner will break in. The official FR1 Deluxe Intuition will tell you weird things like ''270mm shell size'', yet a 274 foot can fit in there. Your best bet is to order the size you think will fit and one size smaller and see if that one fits. Then send back the skates you're not keeping. When you get the skates, remove the liner, put in your feet in the shell (without the liner) and if your toes are not touching the plastic shell, you're good. You should have maybe 1 - 0.5cm of space between your feet and the plastic. Could be even less space I guess, break in period will be longer though, but that's still better than an oversized skate. Also to anybody wanting to buy Intuition liners, think about it really well, because if you already have a pair of skates, then they will probably be too big with the Intuition liners since you didn't buy your skates downsized. Not in all cases, but most.

    Glad to see tyler1 is with you! When you downsized, did you end up going down a shell size or just the liner size? I'm a 28.5 MP which is the low end of their size 10 shell, if I downsize it'll jump down to their size 8 shell which seems sketchy...

    Really curious to know how the liners in the 42-43 size fill out the boot. That size is the only one that uses shell size 8, and the previous model had two liner sizes for that shell. I hope they're a little thicker than the medium V2.

    Hey man, great review. I have a couple questions. My feet are 240mm and the size 5/6 in this skate is 230-240, so do you think this would be a good size for me? Also, is the raised heel in this skate pretty high, or is it more flat? Thanks

    thanks for the vid homey! Do you think the Rollerblades would be more responsive (as much as the FR's) if you bought them a size or half a size down?? Trying to decide what to buy. Also, I'm normally a size 11 in sneakers but I use a 11.5/12 depending on the how wide the tow box is. I need that wider toe box. any thoughts? Thank you!!!

    Hi, very interesting video. Since you own the Twister Edge as well as the FR1 and I'm torn right now between those two since they both fit me well. What would you subjectively say is the Twister edge better or the FR1?

  • @flownyc6165

    @flownyc6165

    what makes the fr1 slightly more versatile is the fact that it has more mounting holes, and has metal straps. I personally think the twisters are the best looking plastic boot, but the fr1 are more compatible with more feet. The fr1 is comfortable off the bat, the twister depending on foot shape takes time. If my twisters fit better they'd be my number 1, I've been getting a bit of pain

    it'll be comfortable but will get loose over time. i EU 45 and wear that size my foot is like 293cm, so you may need the smaller size. i did a little research and i think you should get the size 42-43. it'll be snug but will be better over time, with sizing i believe you get the size 6 shell(out of 8) and it'll keep the liner small but the boot roomy.

    Might you explain one thing? Every FR's chart show that your size which is 44 EU has 280-285mm schell and max measured foot and MP with Intuition liner. But more important bladeville on their website claim that measured inside shell has 290mm. How is it possible to put in 293mm feet in 290 mm shell? I have almost the same foot 293-294 and I think is pointless to go one size up because of fr have one schell for 45-47 and for my foot will be sloopy after break in period. Maybe you know what exactly is measurment inside the boot ?

    Bladeville has the most accurate information from my experience. What I would say is the deluxe fits perfect and has a little play, it's the most forgiving skate I own. I try to buy skates that say 290 mostly. Got some twister edge 10.5(285mm) and they didn't fit I should have listened to the bladeville information and gone with the 11

  • @fufu1405

    I'm 274 and went for the ones where it says the shell is 270. I did this after researching for a long time on /r/rollerblading about other peoples experiences. I'm not sure why it says 274, yet my feet fit (all though I can feel it's super tight and I will need to break them in). I assume it's because shops don't want to deal with the vast majority of casual skaters expecting super comfort and not understanding that you have to break in skates and they end up returning them. That's why you read shit like ''We suggest you go 1 size above your shoe size when ordering these skates''. Casuals new to the hobby are way more likely to keep the skates that just feel super comfortable the first time they put them on. They don't understand that toes touching the front is not a bad thing, because once you're skating in proper position, your knees will be bent and thus, your toes will be pushed back. I suggest you order 2 sizes and sent back the ones that are too big. Do not make the mistake and get these too big, it would be a shame.

  • @flownyc6165

    @flownyc6165

    3 жыл бұрын

    Very different skate. This is really comfortable and more forgiving. You feel the ground a little less since it's plastic. The liner shifts a little bacuase it's not integrated like the evo. Hmmmm FR1 is the safe bet the hardcore evo is more performance oriented. The carbon is very stiff and you can feel the road a bit more, more precision. Heat moldable. Plastic squeaks without wax or some way to reduce the friction. Anything in particular you'd like to know?

Ask me more questions and i can answer any you may have. From the looks of it the 2021 models seems more like a sneaker build which is probably more comfortable.
