His stuttering is rather large. It’s better that he puts it on the table upfront because it disarms bullies.

If I had to guess I’d say Ari’s probably half my age. That said, his videos are very inspirational for an old dude like me getting back up on my skates after decades away (and basically starting from scratch on my skills.)

At least he does. I know many skates who don't care at all behave selfish and still complain about others. Especially the selfishness is so - I can't find the right word for this Level of insanity -it will cause only your death if you try to Win a fight against a car.... I once saw a egyptian young man in a skaters reddit driving backwards in the middle of a street. A car was honking at him before overtaking him and he was swearing bad words at him instead of just beeing happy that at least the car driver cares for him when he at this moment cared for nothing.

We got to get a collaboration, have ari come to Connecticut. Film me doing the Snakewalk picking up garbage with my new tongs. And do your signature moves. It would be so awesome

Great interview. I have seen him skate a number of times and to skate like that around NYC is pretty awesome and he has a genuine love for this sport and has some excellent observations. Ricardo, come back to New York City soon.

You don't need a powerslide next for skating at all. There are some flying eagles, oxello mf500 and even powerslide zoom and Radon are much much cheaper....

What others have already said: Decathlon's Oxelo MF500, 2018 MICRO MT PLUS (Ricardo still has some left at his site, at 119€) or some cheaper models from Flying Eagle. Best of luck! 👍

This guy is the coolest

I stutter too when I was a kid at one point but my stutter is different. I will repeat words endlessly like a broken record so much so that I can't finish a sentence. I have to do significant effort to end it but that only lasted for only a day then it recurred after a year then it completely disappeared.

I thought he was about to say 21 at the end, but he could be any age. I am over 38, and have a lot of gray hair, but I still look 25 if I dye that shit. I need to do a group Skate and New York sometime soon, I haven’t skated with someone since I was 17. Anybody near Connecticut and want to skate? Doing the Snakewalk all day, best move ever.
