I have that book by Fr Slavko. Pray With The Heart. A beautiful and very helpful guide.

Fr Slavko's book, Pray with the Heart, is a great book to take to adoration, especially when going through times of desolation and your mind can't stay focused. Also his book Adore My Son With Your Heart is another great book for personal prayer time.

I learned about Poem of the Man God by Maria Valtorta through a message from our Lady in Medjugorje. It is 5 volumes. SO BEAUTIFUL ❤️. There is a KZread channel with Massimo Bozzi who reads it aloud. SUCH A BLESSING in my life.

Biggest barrier I find is saying the words which I KNOW don't reflect my interior state. I end up feeling like a fraud and get frustrated.

Just keep saying it and your interior will conform .... In time.
