I have always loved Wayne’s way of doing makeup. No pretentiousness and excess, he clearly shares the basics and how we can modify the looks according to our natural features. Truly he is a master of his craft. There’s just so much positivity in the way he teaches that it also teaches me how to appreciate diversity and most importantly my own self.

Hi Wayne, I have been meaning to comment for awhile regarding your eyeshadow palette. The palette has quickly gone to the top of my list and is currently my most used. I love everything about it. The formula, the colors, the packaging all are amazing. I’m really hoping you will have more. I need to tell you also that I just turned 64 and I’m told I don’t look my age and you truly have hit on a complimentary palette I think for every age. Congrats and I look forward to all you have yet to come. You really seem to be such a great guy.

I'd never heard of the "fox eye" until this video. I thought I was plugged in to the beauty community! As usual Wayne simplifies and makes it all make sense.

@@tishajohnson900 if you can't DIY, then I suggest bringing in the professionals. A professional makeup artist lesson and/or a professional aesthetician. No point wasting money on products now. You actually need someone to demonstrate it on you and then wear it for 4 hours in sunlight to see if it really works. If you've tried that, then we are going into the realms of invasive and non-invasive clinical procedures. I had some hair and scalp problems, I tried every product and my family doctor and various hair stylists. The only thing that worked was going to a hair and scalp clinic. It wasn't a matter of vanity. Mentally it was making me depressed that I didn't have a normal scalp like everyone else.

Tisha Stupka I have very dark eye lids, under eyes and I have melasma right below the circles. I think I look like a clown without any makeup 😒 I’ve also had ppl ask why I had black eyes. The more concealer I use the more cakey it looks which makes it look gross. I recently purchased Charlotte Tilbury magic vanish colour corrector. I put that all over the dark bits and buff the edges smooth then a NARS and cover FX concealer mix and a very light dusting of Charlotte Tilbury airbrush flawless finish setting powder with a very fluffy eyeshadow brush. On days I don’t think that’s done the trick I have added a light eyeshadow directly on the dark circles as well. It’s not perfect, they’re not gone but I’m human and therefore I’m not perfect. I’m very thankful for the KZread platform as we have many talented artists helping us. Most of what I’ve learnt has been from Wayne and Andreea Ali. No one comments on my discolouration anymore, just how beautiful my makeup is. I find the more I stress over it, the worse I feel. I do what I can and rock it. Do what makes you feel good about you 👍

Thank you so much. Your tutorials are literally the best there are. I have not enjoyed any others as much as yours. I love your approach to make up, which seems to be simply to enhance and not cake the face in layers upon layers of clashing colours and caked on foundation like all the Instagrammers. Some of those tutorials are actually terrifying and older women can't possibly relate. I often wonder to myself who in their right mind would go outside looking like some of them do. Maybe for a cosplay, sure. But in general, simply complimenting ones face with makeup wins the day and we don't end up looking like clowns. I really appreciate you, have been watching your videos for years and they have helped me the most.

The impersonation you did caused me to chortle, Wayne. 😆 Ya, when I heard the term months ago, and saw what folks were demonstrating, my immediate thought was, “That’s and old technique.”

Beautiful, as usual. Can't wait to try it on my severely hooded eyes. If I could just figure out how to manage the left eye since it's a harder hood. Whatever, more time to play. You're so genuine, handsome, kind, and brilliant at what you do! Gosh, I've thought that was a green screen this whole effing time! 🤦🏻‍♀️❤💋

Thank you so much for doing tutorials for hooded lids! I've watched & loved your videos for probably 6-7 years now. I do wish you'd redo some of your concealer for undereyes. Mine aren't bags (yet lol) but I'm very pale & they're very deep & long from tearducts to mid-nose. Nothing I've tried helps & it seems I'm allergic to almost everything. And adult acne flares up with anything with glycerin in the 1st 10-12 ingredients. I can't use any eye creams with caffeine bc they break my capillaries. And since I've had so many back surgeries I'm unable to work & apparently too young to get disability without a fight (they say it can take up to 7 years to get any disability) so my funds are pretty much nonexistent these days. I'm saying this bc I can't buy the expensive makeup I used to. I'm using foundation from 2 years ago (I know, gross!) Any advice? Thanks to anyone for reading. I'm desperate & feeling quite ugly these days.

Love your instruction techniques, so much easier to follow PLUS you explain why each step is done a particular way. Going to try this out for date night with my love on Saturday....in our own livingroom because of covid, lol. He always does something to turn our livingroom or kitchen into a "different location" to make it seem like we're not just stuck at home. Anyone else out there making the best of quarantine?

I must say I just got here by accident and I was practically resigned to the idea of Fox eyes because of my hooded eyes. I have little to none space from my eye to my eyebrows plus hooded eyes (I know it sounds terrible but I never give up on my own type of beauty, thanks God) I just make this video on my eyes and I am shocked and relieved I can achieve this beautiful outcome. From the bottom of my heart I am so grateful to find your videos. Now I can buy make up (which I love) and use it in a way that doesn't look like a clown when i finished. Thank you so much for helping us!!
