@@TrickyCarping I agree ^ I'm going to subscribe.. I just got the fox easy shelter plus curious if you know of any add ons they sell for it like a overwrap. Looked online everywhere with no luck

@@pato9181 thank you pat for subscribing it is massively appreciated!! Unfortunately there are no extras or add ins for these shelters, you simply just get the shelter with the door! @@TrickyCarping yeah I saw that video and got myself a tarp and the hardware for the holes. Do you think there's a DYI for this shelter to do an overwrap? Or maybe there's an overwrap sold for a different brand that may fit/work with the fox easy shelter plus

Haha I haven’t mate no! Although it probably would fit, I can’t say it’s something I would do haha it would certainly be expensive 😂🎣🎣

i av the plus fantastic bit of kit spend a week in it no problem and when you got to move i can drop this in lit 2 mins

Ermmmmm both completely different things mate so it’s hard to say on the one, both amazing in their own way

Shame no ground sheet, it would be a struggle in spring when it gets very muddy. Also a bit pricey for a basic pop up tent.

I've never had a shelter/bivvy before. Are there any instructions on removing the door and replacing with the mossie net. I know probably obvious to most, but can't work it out.

slide all the zips round to one side mate and give it a little wiggle, should just pop off

@@JP-ic2ze any time mate! Yes it can be a pain but pull both zips together and line them up, should just slide on, hard to explain to be honest! Hope you sort it

@@TrickyCarping thanks. It turns out I was doing it correctly. One of the zips was too narrow. Easily fixed and now goes on perfectly. So relieved finally sorted.

Just touching by them they are rocking like elvis..

I take it there’s only enough room for bedchair and not a lot else in the easy shelter plus ?

Ye pretty much mate mate, got room for a few buckets and bags, the standard easy shelter just fits your bedchair and nothing else, the plus model is slighter bigger

Haha thank you mate I appreciate it! And I didn’t own the easy shelter + in this video, it is my friend’s, but I have bought all the other bivvys on my channel because I got good deals on them and couldn’t decide on one 😂 picked my favourite and sold the rest

@@AnthSmog92 well I only own the east shelter camo, as stated the easy shelter plus is mine which I still own, but personally if I was going to buy another it would be the easy shelter plus

I think the idea is great, but if they were only a bit bigger. I'm not that tall and I still find that anything under 130cm height is just too low, you have to sit on a really low chair to see out to the lake..

thanks for commenting ian, i personally havnt had that problem however i am only 5 foot 10. the easy shelter plus does offer slightly more head room but like i say they are just small compact shelters designed for anglers wanting to travel fast and light. tight lines buddy

Three issues .....The Plus should come in Camo why did they drop that ? Also both desperatley need a fitted ground sheet. Third they both scream out for a pvc window in the door for weather the weather turns.

Hi Charlie thanks for watching and commenting. Not sure why they never made the plus in a camo, I guess it’s maybe something they might produce in future. don’t forget that is only a shelter and with a retail price of £150 you can’t realistically expect everything from that price figure. @@TrickyCarping I have the Camo version and love it. But i did write to Fox about the next version deffo needs a door window. Never got a reply and they never introduced one ? Yes seen your groundsheet video. I like the Fox Easyshelters but a few tweaks at not a lot of extra cost to them could make it a great idea. Thanks for the reply and videos....Subbed

Needs a over wrap,used last night,condensation was bad even with doors open.

I got a Quesr quick erect shelter couldnt put it up ( wich mite be just me ?) But it was a lot heavier than ju expected so sent it back

Looks good but looks like it be no good in a storm?

I’ve used it in 40mph winds and rain and it was fine mate, kept me warm and dry

The poles twist and split after a year

I had mine 2 years buddy and it’s been used and abused over that period, never once had any issues, and a bought mine second hand

Mines split and when I peg it in tight where the sowing is just behind the peak has started leaking so I went out and got the eos brolly

That’s a very bold statement mate, do you own either of them? personally I think they’re fantastic. Perfect for short sessions or day sessions, super compact and versatile

@@TrickyCarping i think when u look at foxes innovation in shelters over the years i had an easy dome in 2004 it was mega and bivvies that followed suit from fox were quality the easy shelter in my opinion is shocking its a cheap hunting popup up hide rebranded as a carp angling shelter with of course the 500% carp tax look what u can buy for the same money or slightly more im sorry its a product used to catch anglers at least the camotec dpm was only an extra 50quid

@@addictedtoangling You clearly don’t have one and don’t know much about hunting shelters. It’s very well made, light and quick to put up and take down. I’ve got the plus and can’t fault it at all.
