Great idea for a cheap groundsheet, I mounted it with self-adhesive Velcro tape inside the bivouac to seal the base from water and drafts.

Is this tarpaulin very strong for very rocky unlevel ground pls?

Hi. No, its not a heavy duty groundsheet. I like the groundsheet for this tent to be lightweight. But I guess if you use tarpaulin 120g/m2 it will last for a season even if you camp on rocky terain. Then you could make a new one for next season. Or use a thicker tarpaulin.

Hi, the with is the same dimenssion as the brolly. The tarpuline is a 120g/m² in thikness, hope this answers your question.

I bought the stuff from a shop in Sweden. But i guess you can find it at you local hardwear store or search for eyelet punch for tarpaulin and tarpaulin 120g/m2 at Amazon.
