Fox Call -- Part 1

Спорт

THIS IS A HUNTING VIDEO. VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED.
The weather's warming up and the hills are alive. Foxes are our target and we have a few new tools in the shed thanks to Paul from www.foxcalls.com/.
Leigh and I give these new callers a bit of a run while the snakes keep us on our toes.
Foxes are an introduced pest in Australia one in which is having a massive impact on our native wildlife and farming stock. The fox and feral cat are notorious for being responsible for drastic reductions in our bird life with a massive effect on many other species that inhabit our land. Our governments support hunters as one means in helping fight this issue. Please educate yourself with facts before making comment.
For further information regarding these callers contact Paul on 0425721588 or visit www.foxcalls.com/

Your videos keep getting more & more professional - well done! When quadding up to a calling location, do you park right at the spot or walk some distance prior to calling? Do you want the quad out of sight from where the fox is likely to come? On another point, you may want to try with a constant electronic call while quadding around - which often makes them look towards it (even over the motor noise) & the eyeshine reveals them (or use your T2 if you have the lungs for it!).

We believe it actually gives off a variety of different tones and with a little practice you can make it sound like a fox pup in distress. 90% of the foxes shot using this call were whelping vixens. Very unusual to be able to drag them out of the dens at this stage. So quite impressed.

I must admit that theres alot of fishing and off road 4x4 shows that are on tv but id would flick the channel over in a heartbeat to watch your shows instead. You guys have come along way and you gotta appreciate the time and effort that goes on behind the scenes putting these videos together. Bloody brilliant to watch and i mean i can watch these day and night and the way yous are just relaxed and layed back cracking jokes with one another and knowing your limits is just great. Nothing like good mateship good fun and bloody good shooting. Well enough of my long 2 cents worth but hey i had to say something!!! Gotta get back to watching the rest of your vids and looking forward for more to come. Thanks for giving us hunters some good entertainment and good laughs. Well mate, I've got to say a big thankyou for putting such a fantastic comment up. It obviously takes a bit of commitment and time away from actual hunting to put these videos together. It is often quite frustrating but at the same time rewarding. Filming our hunts was something I have done for a while and just kept them private. I was reluctant at the beginning to make some of them public but with a bit of encouragement from the boys that is what I did a few years back. I am still a little overwhelmed at the responses we get with the majority being good. As hunters I believe we should wear our passion on our sleeves and not be afraid to do so. From your comment it sounds like have a similar line of thought so please share the love where possible. Thanks again mate, I hope you enjoy some of our other videos.

天风ོ. Educate yourself to the issue of the introduced European Fox into Australia before making judgement. We do not like seeing our native animals decimated by this ruthless but pretty animal. Our aim is to give any animal a quick painless death. More than what the fox does to our natives leaving some to the point of extinction. If you can’t comprehend this why did you watch the video. I am not sure where you are getting your information from but hunting is certainly not banned world wide and in many countries it plays a big part in the local infrastructure. Fox hunting in Australia is certainly not banned and as this animal has been introduced there is a bounty on their head in some states. The introduction of the European Fox in Australia is having a major impact on some of our native animals and without some control on their numbers many of these natives will reach extinction. Hunting is one form of control and I can assure you it is far better than some of the alternatives like 1080 etc.

Surprising as it is that's the first sako I've seen that can hit a target the two I've had the privilege to shoot wouldn't hit the broad side of a barn from inside the barn one in 308 one in 223 I've put em down as useless rifles especially for the price tag seeing this though maybe I'm wrong you seem pretty stoked with yours

Majority of Sako's shoot extremely well especially when you put the time into your handloads. Leigh's .222 will shoot 1/2 MOA with the 50gr Vmax without any problems at all.

@@BoltActionProductions wow there you go these were virtually strate out of the box Schmitt and bender scopes we were sighting in couldn't get em to group at all thought it was scope at first changed mounts no difference changed scope no difference went through 6 shooters and a range officer closest we could get was 8inch group at 50m 4 different brands of factory ammo after that I couldn't figure out why ppl loved them so much but maybe we just got two lemons they were sent back to wherever they were bought from haven't heard if old mate got his money back or if rifles were fixed and sent back to him but after that experience I've sorta stayed away from them once bitten twice shy type of thing but watching you guys video and reading your response might have to give them another chance

Actually the Australian government does. Paying hunters a bounty to help control the ecological damage caused to our native species by the introduction of the European Red Fox. Do your homework before making judgement🙄

The fox is scalped and the Australian government pays us $10 for each one. This is a program to control the introduced European Red Fox before some of our native animals reach extinction.
