Saw him at Manchester WHP. After an hour and a half he had the crowd in the palm of his hand. There was a build that lasted about ten minutes; an ever rising crescendo; lights came up, people on each others' shoulders, much love in the air, the build continued, his mum was there, the build then turned into a drop and the whole room melted into exultant ecstasy. Beautiful moment.

I'm embarrassed to say I've only just discovered this amazing fella. I watched the vid of him playing Brixton with Fred Again and Skrillex, and he completely out mixed the two of them, which is no easy feat. His transitions are outstanding and Skrillix grabbed the mic at one point and said he was his mentor. Thank you for playing your sets for us man they are truly captivating, this one is no exception.

At Glastonbury 2003/04 perhaps, Sunday afternoon, just happened to be walking past the guardian tent, at this point it was maybe a tent for a few hundred people, not like the stage its become. But....while walking past,I bumped in to Lenny Henry, Ian Brown, other such notoriety's, going in. Turned out they were going in to see Four Tet, now these are guys that know their potatoes. Was outstanding, did this thing with a Led Zep vocal over a beat for ages, it was fucking sublime. Been hooked since.

four tet came last year to mexico for CEREMONIA festival, he was the last show of the smallest stage, from 2 to 3 am, after soulwax, beck and caribou, people were leaving but a select few were still dancing to this hyper chill low volume set, i knew the name and was dissapointed for this small stage, but as it was the first time i saw him live, i completely understood what it was all about, set ended about 4:20 am, imsure it was no coincidence =D

It’s still absolutely surreal how much he changed. He’ll always be the organic sounding, jazz-sampling, exceptionally creative whole grain Four Tet/Fridge of the late 90’s to the mid-noughties for me. The last he displayed of this was likely the Ringer EP. Even with tracks on Everything Ecstatic there were hints of the dancer version of himself coming out. The final track that reminds me of the days of Dialogue or Pause was probably ‘you were there with me’ hi h is absolutely beautiful, moving, incredible

Having only just come across Kieran Hebdon at Boardmasters 23’ (1.5hr set and blown away at that) in the last few months, I can see exactly why his fan base is snowballing. I’m now officially hooked on all his work and what a pleasure it is listening to all his varied productions over the last 20+ yrs it’s unique and sheer quality - such a modest guy who will never change being so unassuming. Good luck to the Four Tet revolution (but it’s not luck he needs or wants, he’s done it all himself) just gutted I didn’t discover him all those years ago…

Four Tet's discography is way more diverse than what Skrillex and Fred ever released. You should definitely check out everything that he has produced since 2000.
I knew this man was a musical genius when performing with skrillex and fred, he didn't flex his skills, didn't have to, I didn't know who he was at the time but his aura commanded respect, I looked into him and sure enough..., thank you in the highest regards, sincerely...THE COLLECTIVE!

This set inexplicably makes me so thankful to be alive

This is probably the best boiler room live set I've seen!!
Honestly, this is top quality aaaaall around. That tune Parallel Jalebi combined with the stunning lights just blew my mind.
This must be played on my funeral, I keep on coming back to this wonderful beginning. This intro is one of the best things I've ever listened to in my whole life. Four tet, you're the master. I love you!
Wow! One of the most beautiful live-sets I've ever heard and the lights was awesome! Good music for the soul! Bless
THis is absolute magic. Pure, unadulterated bliss. One man's passion and creativity in a tangible, audible medium. This is on the level of Jean Michel Jarre's Oxygene's impact on the world. This is ethereal and unreal, liberating and constricting at the same time. The curator to end all curators.
