Honeymooned in Taormina in 2022, walked past this hotel a couple of times definitely will stay here in 2024. The history of Taormina is vast and worth visiting. My wife and I were amazed at the fact that this small city played a huge part in the history of Sicily

San Domenico Palace is more than a hotel, it is also a tiny museum, walking around the corridor can feel the difference. Imagine living in a building for Centuries, Quite different to other European hotels, the traditional garden contains a degree of topical elements. I admire the architect, how they combine antique design and contemporary design in a hotel together? And it looks nearly perfect? Unbelievably great!

This trip reminded me of a trip you took 5 years ago to the Monastero Santa Rosa. While both hotels are unique within themselves, there is a certain sort of throughline they share of stillness, and simplicity while the history of the area is a guide, with the Mediterranean Sea cradling them both. Once again thank you for another outstanding video of the lovely and glamorous Four Seasons Hotel in Taormina, Sicily in Italy. The property is just breathtaking with all the beautiful gardens and topiary, the impeccable cleanliness of the entire hotel. The infinity pool, the restaurants, Avincio with the 1 star Michelin rating. It is heaven on the 7th floor.

What a place to dine with friends. View is breathtaking.

The hotel is a slice of heaven on earth. The views and location is paradise

This hotel captures certain elements of the monastic life which is fine with me. I grew up in this form of religious environment and you capture the serenity of that life even though it is now a commercial enterprise. Some people may be put off by this but many more will put this on their "bucket list" for a quiet, contemplative few days away from the roar of the crowds. Very restorative for the spirit! Thanks so much !

Incredible Hotel, that view from the balcony in your room was to die for, one thing did surprise me was when you arrived at the Hotel that the two concierges did not come over to assist with your bags

Looking up reviews for the hotel from the first season of White Lotus was how I found your channel! Loved your video of the four seasons Maui.

It seems like such a relaxing place.

I loved to stay in Four Seasons hotels. I have been a club member for a long time and stayed in Sydney, Shanghai several times.

I actually thought of visiting Das Stue for two days to get to know the Tiergarten-region thoroughly. Like two full days of strolling through Tiergarten and the rest is just enjoying that multiple-Euro per hour sleep in a good bed... And that's directly tied to the video on this channel... That's only in consideration because I don't have to spend like 700 USD to get there and come back from there in the first place...

I loved White Lotus so much a watching this video was so amazing. I really geeked out when you showed the bar and piano! I would have to sneak a pic of myself sitting at it. Haha. Thanks so much!

I assume that this monastery was abandoned and sold. Beauty. Some historical elements of furniture remained there, which are beautifully composed. The beautiful garden perfectly captures the atmosphere. Beautiful view of Etna from the pool.

Hello Traveler. "If those walls could talk !!" I am sure they would keep us interested for millennia. I wonder if the palace has a collection of writings from the monks of old somewhere? That would be interesting to see/read. It a very beautiful palace. Many of Montreal's old religious buildings are protected under historical protection, so they cannot be utilized for just any conversion. I think the cloisters are so very beautiful. I could envision monks walking around those gardens, rolling their rosaries through their hands in prayer and contemplation. And he teases us with another Safari clip, at least he brings along his Assistant Executive Secretary on this trip !!
