Four Most Beautiful Lions In Kruger Park On Patrol - Casper And His Shish Brothers

We were very lucky to film Casper The White Lion and his three Shish Brothers - Footloose, Casanova And Mfowethu - Patrolling their territory for miles - Al the way from the N'wanetsi River on the H1-3 up to Satara Rest-camp.
The reason why white lions are so incredibly rare is because the mating female and the male must both possess the recessive gene called leucism in order to produce a white lion cub. The likelihood of both lions having this gene is extremely uncommon, which is why these pale-coloured lions are so special.
Casper the White Lion is ONE of only THREE White Lions currently alive in the wild.
Casper and his three Brothers: Casanova, Footloose and Mfowethu control the Satara Pride and are often seen around Satara Rest-camp.
The other two White Lions - Brother and Sister - are from the Birmingham Pride and their territory are in the Ngala Private Game Reserve to the west of Kruger National Park some 60 Km west of Satara.
Sometimes the two Birmingham White Lions wanders into Kruger Park close to Orpen Rest-camp area.
Casper and his Brothers were born into the Shishangaan Pride and fathered by Xihamham and his Brother 'Old Grumpy' during mid July 2014.
Xihamham and his Brother currently control the Mananga AND Mountain Prides to the east of Satara Rest-camp around the Singita Concession Area.

The Shishangaan Pride are lately Controlled by a remaining Ex Male of the Kumana Pride in a coalition with a younger Male called Maputo.
The Birmingham pride is the prominent pride of Ngala Private Game Reserve.The current dominant coalition of the Birmingham Pride are two males known as the Ross Males, who took over the Pride in early 2018.
Their two White Lion offspring's are currently about 3 years old.
GAME DRIVE ETIQUETTE - RULES (SANParks):
- When you come across a sighting, slowly pull over on the side of the road closest to the animal, but keep a safe distance and turn OFF your engine
- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should NEVER be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too
- Never go off the designated roads
- Never climb out of your vehicle during a drive, or hang out of your car windows or sunroof
- Don’t hoot or blare loud music
- Avoid driving into vegetation, as this could damage the environment or kill small animals
- During night drives, never shine a spotlight directly in animals’ eyes
- Never make noise to get animals to move, stand up or otherwise react for pictures
- Respect the rangers, and always comply with their requests or instructions

Except I think Footloose's (?) left side of the face seems twice bigger than it should be... Still, he's busy marking a roaring, making the best of life he can do!
At the first moment a thought: "What? No cars?" But then .... 😉

Morning i see on a comment you say Casper is lazy did you ever see him roar before . Maybe of him being a white lion, he cannot roar just in my opinion i am not saying I'm right. Besides his laziness, they all are the most beautiful lion coalition. Just love it when Footloose is on the run a real comic in his own right . Thanks for all your effort in keeping us updated far away from Kruger Park.

Casper is always bring up the rear. Lol 😆 Quick question. Have they not been around the cubs yet? Is it not strange that it's been this long since we seen the cubs but not with dad.

I was wondering about that too. I thought maybe it was the lighting. If not, I hope he'll be o.k. Wish they were in an area that gives medical help to their lions because Kruger/SabiSands does nothing to help the lions or any animals. They use these poor animals and make millions doing it,until they die
What? these boys are about 60km away from the Birmingham pride? That mean senior mbiri from mbiri pride that is close to Birmingham pride and who is currently king of nsemani pride must have drifted a long distance because last year he beat up these boys who are his neighbors. Am i right/wrong?

First the other three lion told him to stay back cause their advantage for food was less zebra and other spots him easy cause of his white color and he is lazy too

Windows open???? Lions present???? Risk arms & head but there no brain so it doesn't matter
They shouldn't allow vehicles to turn around and follow the animals like they do unless you're a special vehicle doing a story but people who are there just to drive through shouldn't be allowed being they don't know all the rules and if one of the lions were to turn and jump at the drivers side window it would be very ugly and they would deserve it
