This is a really simple and informative video, thank you! Also shiny Doduo looks amazing in Let's Go, it's gotta be said. But if I may - there's a better ladder spot to try for shinies in Mt.Moon imo. It's down the second ladder you come across in the cave. The area you covered here is long and narrow where as this one is square. Much easier to see the spawns in while standing in one place (saving lure usage), not to mention there's a bit more maneuvering room around all the 'mons so you're not accidentally bumping into them so much! Of course, both places are fine and essentially do the same thing, I just found myself getting less frustrated in the other spot while hunting my shiny Clefairy~

Ok so, whatever you do, DON’T SHINY HUNT IN DIGLETT CAVE. IT IS ONE OF THE WORST PLACES EVER. On a side note I caught a a shiny Diglett on my 666th catch

It’s very narrow and not a lot of Pokèmon show up at once. If going for diglett, dugtrio or zubat it’s annoying because there is always one chansey on screen at a time. Never more, never less and it takes forever for them to despawn, (encountering them and then running away just makes another one spawn) and there’s nowhere to stand where you won’t be attacked because it’s narrow and it’s indoors so you technically can’t fly above them. I don’t have the shiny charm yet, and I’m just an unlucky person in general. Hope that answers your question and have a good day! :3

Check out the rock tunnel! There's a ladder that leads to a large room (I think it's the second one after coming in from route 10) it can have around 8+ spawns as well, by using the ladder method I got an onix, Kanga, and 2 golbats

Cerulean cave is decent. The second floor has ladders everywhere and while hunting you can farm some items

Sight Seeker i found two shiny ponyta (but the first ran because I tried to catch it in a premium(?) ball 😭, don’t take any chances!) in three hours doing this: first make 31-catch combo of ponyta, then fly on dragonite/charizard, use a lure and position you so you can see a lot of grass. Now stand still and wait while looking at the screen every 20-30 seconds. I did some hand stitching while waiting. I also found a shiny doduo like this.

Awesomeness 235 once you hit 30 you don’t need to catch anymore, it doesn’t improve your odds of finding a shiney, just fly above the route and let more Meowths spawn catching the extra 200 would just be a wast of time really

Cerulean cave is really good because you can chain chansey and level up your pokemon while also having the chance of finding a really nice shiny besides chansey like snorlax, ditto, rhyhorn, or the lickitung you got. They're just gonna be tough to catch in there.

Viridian is by far my best area, so far I have found 4 wheedle, 2 pidgey, 2 pikachu, and 1 bulbasaur shinies. It's for sure my favourite!

Great video! I'd also suggest Rock Tunnel. The area that's just down the furthest ladder from the entrance spawns a butt-ton of pokes. That's where I got my charmander

I got this one from another KZreadr but I forget who. There's a small patch of grass east of Celadon city before you enter the route building. It usually spawns about 4-5 Pokemon at a time. I like this spot because if you stand next to the entry way of the building and if there's nothing there that you see, you can just run inside and right back out again while only using a few steps. Its especially helpful if you're using a lure

I found every shiny pokemon in viridian forest its a really good place to shiny hunt especially for beginners.

I personally like that one route by Vermillion where Drowzee & Mr. Mime spawns. You can see a lot of spawns, there's a door to go in & out of if you feel the need to reset the route, the rare flying Pokemon can be found there, & you can never have too many shiny Drowzee. I had a catch combo of about 70 something Drowzee because I was candy farming & I decided to hunt Charizard & Dragonite so I took to the air & almost immediately after going up, I saw a pink Drowzee walking around so I caught it & then had a relaxing time up in the air running into Dragonite & Charizard to constantly reset them as well as keeping an eye on the ground. I found three shiny Pidgey during that, only caught one because I didn't want to chain again even though Drowzee is easy enough to catch, I just wanted to relax & find my target but when the third shiny Pidgey arrived I was like fine, the universe wants me to have yet another shiny Pidgey. I already had two before the first even came in. This route works for getting shinies, just those shines are more than likely gonna be Pidgey it seems.

So in route 19 I brought up my Ponyta chain up to 31 and immediately the next one I saw was the Shiny one! Looks super cool with blue fire 😎

I found two shiny geodudes today at that spot at mt.moon today! I also found a shiny Onix near a ladder at Rock tunnel today too. At route 17, I found a shiny Chansey. All of there were caught while having combo on Ponyta, Pidgey and zubat.

Hey mate! Live ur channel. I'm looking to start videos myself soon, uve been an inspiration. I'd like to add 2 spots that have treated me VERY well in the shiny hunt.... 1. Surfing north of cinnabar. I've gotten multiple shinys there. U can even use the staru as ur catch combos and do some significant leveling while ur hunting. PLUS only 3 pkm spawn there, staru, magicharp and tentacool so they are all pretty solid shinys. 2- the first room in the powerplant spawns about 7 pkm at a time and is next to a door. Also the types in there are all pretty great pkm to have shiny. Hope that helps! Thx again for the video!!!

Another really good spot is in the Rock Tunnel, if you enter through Route 10 and just go down the very first ladder it is the same as the Mt. Moon method but a much larger room.

The entrance to route 7 from Saffron is decent, only a cap of 4 mon on screen but using the same method you have for mount moons ladders you can get through a fair chunk pretty quickly. Jigglypuff Porygon Vulpix (LG Eevee) Growlithe (LG Pikachu) are the most notable Pokémon on that route as well as some commons like Pidgey etc. Walk in and out of the door with or without lure and generally 3 are always there and not waiting long for the 4th. If not shiny then repeat.

If you have a lure plus a 31+ chain it's still a 1/315 chance so you would still have a lot more hunting to do. Note: you don't have to catch Pokémon above the 31 chain unless you want candies because the shiny rate stays the same.

The one good thing about Chansey is they're really easy to combo, even pre E4. Their initial spawn rate is shit and that takes a lot of time but after a combo of 5 the rare spawn becomes less rare, then after 11 it's literally on screen all the time. Encounter one, the next one immediately pops up. It is a pain to catch at higher levels which is why I'd recommend Chansey hunting in Mt. Moon, that's the lowest level Chansey's you can find so they're usually just yellow ringed, not red or orange.

While watching your video I was shiny hunting and I was starting to lose hope and then a shiny graveler appeared. (It's cool and all but was I looking for a shiny charmander.)

I had a combo over 450, then I decided it was easier to just go up and down from the top floor to the 2nd from top. I'd wait until I'd seen 4 Gastlys, and then I would go up and then back down the stairs to refresh. Found one in about 20 minutes of starting that method

I prefer route 4 with the small patch of grass near a pokemon center you can see four pokemon at a time and you almost immediately know what all the spawns are so its an amazing refresh area hunting a nidoran male but found a perfect IV one while doing so

My favorite spot is anywhere between cinnabar and Seafoam Islands, you can stand still flying (lure never runs out) and some decent shinies can be found there like, magikarp, tentacool, and lapras even spawns pretty frequently (with lure and catch combo) when one lapras despawns one spawns pretty quickly to take its place

I was on route 25 once, and it was early in the game, so I was grinding exp. I found a shiny Psyduck, and I can’t tell you how surprised and happy I was. I go over to it and it de-spawns as soon as I touch it.

the basement oof rocck tunnell is good and so is rt 7, iif you walk in and out of the buildding on rt 7 you can see a ton of spawns very quickly

I found a shiny Chansey just by doing the exp farming in Cerulean Cave! I'm planning to test the same area to get Snorlax shiny

the other small room in mt moon is smaller with the same spawn rate but seems to spawn things faster but the issue is honestly avoiding encounters . Your first location is good but I personally prefer staying on the bottom grass patch cause things seem to have a slight delay but always spawn in front of you so if u just fly down to the Persian guy from that patch it auto despawns everything and you have a 0% chance of ever missing anything I got 2 ponyta and a chancy there in a hour with this method .

In the first few minutes I caught a shiny weedle when I was trying to get a shiny oddish. I almost ran past it!

Hunted for a Zubat in that mount moon spot, got a shiny in 30 minutes! Thank u so much man, Im gonna go for a sandshrew next!

Josilyn: Omg! I caught a shiny Doduo on Route 17! It evolved and I sometimes use it in my party. :3

I found route 3 to be great, many Pokémon spawn at once (Charmander spawns there) and it has 2 grass patches for Pokémon respawns and I found 2 shinies there without any sort of catch combo.

I've been playing Pokémon for such a long time I don't remember when I started playing it... but I caught my very first shiny in Viridian Forest! after 88 combos, I caught my first shiny Pikachu xD

Just went into route 17, ponyta 3 caught combo and boom shiny ponyta spawns! Thank you!!

Lucky!!! I spent a few days looking for one. Had a catch combo over 100, for XP and candy and still nothing

I chained all day for a shiny Eevee on route 17 and Doduo appeared first. Had to get it since I firmly follow no shiny left behind. Back on the Eevee grind tomorrow.

I caught a Clefable on the main floor of Mt Moon and I was super excited because it was before Misty’s gym battle and I also think Brock’s

My first ever shiny pokemon in this game was a shiny Weedle, which evolved into a shiny Kakuna, and then, during my rematch with the elite four, it evolved into a shiny Beedrill.

I was randomly walking around Pokémon road (route 17) and a RANDOM shiny Phyduck appeared! I didn’t even have a lure on, I also caught a wild Articuno on the same route! And also had no lure or catch combo! Not in the same day though.

I just caught a shiny Weedle a bit ago in Viridian Forest. That's the 5th shiny I caught today and in total the 6th shiny I have caught so far.

I just got Pokemon Let's Go and on my first run through I found a shiny growlithe in the patches of grass by the Daycare. I got him too!

I remember getting a shiny doduo right when i said i didn't want that shiny, at the time i was trying to get shiny eevee

I watched this because I was getting frustrated at not finding a shiny in a reasonable amount of time despite having the shiny charm lure and 32 catch combo. Watched your video until 8:25 and pause, go to viridian forest and as soon as i walk in there's a shiny caterpie. You also happen to be catching that at 8:25 so thanks for that transfer of energy lol

It really is crazy how easy it is in this game to get a shiny. I just got my game, was comboing chansey for some level grinding. 3 into my combo I found a shiny zubat.

Current Let's Go Eevee shinies I have gathered: Magnemite, Nidoking, Seadra, Tentacruel, Geodude and Psyduck. I dont care much for the geodude but atleast I caught him. :)

Found 2 shiny Chansey during my ponyta shiny hunt on route 17

I’ve had a catch combo for Chansey at a 100 and ended up finding a shiny Zubat. I was both disappointed and happy at the same time to see a green Zubat in Cerulean Cave.

So far I've shiny hunted 3 pokes. Zubat, Nidoran(m), and Sandshrew. I tried Tentacool but honestly shiny hunting in the ocean is stressful and not efficient as far as I've experienced. Doing Growlithe next, going up and down from Cerulean city to spawn and despawn

Nice video A couple of weeks ago I got two shines in space of 45 minutes a shiny catpie and sandschrew on let's go Pikachu and a week before I got a shiny onmyate,pidgeyotto and jigglypuff

Viridian Forest lags sometimes on my switch because of so many spawns lol. I did find a shiny Weedle here though right near the beginning of my game :)

Same about the lag lol and congrats

I actually like going in to Rock Tunnel. There is a spot a bit in to it where it seems like 10+ will spawn at once
