Four bad films make one good one

Junk Films: What do you do with a bunch of half-baked film ideas that never made it past a rough edit? Bang em together to make four short bad films into one middle length one.
Some films don’t make it past a rough edit. What seemed like a golden idea at the time ends up taking up way too much time in the aftermath, only to never see the light of day online, and take up half the memory of a hard drive. As a lover of junk, I don’t have the heart to delete the files and thought ‘why don’t I make four crap films into one ok film?’ I’ll cut out the worst bits, watch the films live, and tell the people of KZread what’s good and bad about good ideas gone bad.

I think that's the point of the video Beau was trying to get across (and what I perceive to be his core philosophy). Just because individually, something may not have much value to others, when put together in an amalgam of videos, it can turn into something great for just about anyone. The adventure is finding value in what is often thrown aside as "junk" and creating new value in it, whether it be junk wood, junk film, or even junk commute time.

Beau, I love your personality and attitude towards life. Keep making content, shit or not it’s not for other people it’s for you. You’re an inspiration to me and many others so keep up the amazing work. Cheers from the US!

I really like this kind of meta-level of analysing your own films, it's something you wouldn't often see

Back again. It's beautiful to see how you can take stories that deserved to be told and give them their little spotlight, even though they weren't quite right. It kind of shows that everything has purpose, even if it doesn't fulfill its intended purpose.

Thank you for these brilliantly entertaining little insights into your life Beau. Subtly humorous, hugely interesting and wonderfully soporific...great work Beau
