Thank you very much teacher. Very awesome, I always wanted to master the art of doing foundation call out, I watched a tutorial from another channel and they didn’t do it the way how you did yours by adding the skirt around the building for water drainage, they show the stucco on the exterior wall and created a drip edge, I prefer to do it the way how you d it because it seems more effective. Have a blessed day

Instead of that ground level floor to channel water away from the foundation footing, you can use weeping tile

Hi, is it possible to automate foundation details for different projects with similar details instead of doing the task every time?

So, if we change the patterns of the materials to be shown like that in the callout, then if desire not to see it in floor plans, what should we do?

really appreciate this video, but I just found out that the line in the section can not show its thickness, all is the same. Does anyone know how to settle this problem? thank you.

So that protection strip must be for use on very slope sites otherwise do some PE80 porforated pipes as drainage instead..

its nice detail but i have a thermal bridge in it. you need put therm insolation all over that little wall that is on bottom

  • @olik136

not if the insolation in the floor is about 10cm- it is in theory still a thermal bridge but it is considered to have no impact - I would still but insolation on there especially because it is not underground- also the dimension of the bottom plate seems much to small

man floor on terrain need list 15 if not 20 cm of insolation + hydroisolation and especially you need isolate the foundations like is it here : imaterialy.dumabyt.cz/obrazek/586f9ab3cb3b3/hi-nepodsklep-rd-05-06-1.jpg

Oh I thought you meant something like this www.bauexpertenforum.de/attachments/frostschuerze-jpg.50130/ with "all over" the wall- I was just talking of the inner side of the foundation that you don't- have to insolate (like in your picture) although it is actually a thermal bridge

That's true, but once it's done in revit, modifying it is easier and takes less time , and in addition to that it will be a real 3D model

I am getting so fed up with this software. How can there by a system function to automatically generate wall foundations, but then you have to manually create a gravel layer under them?!? That's so utterly ridiculous. I am seriously considering to bother myself with learning a new SW so I don't have to deal with this mastodont that is getting extinct anymore ughhhhh

several technical mistakes, you are not an engineer, and clearly do not know much about foundations, several mistakes, and you also explained why those mistakes, which is pure madness....stick to your role as an architect, whe doin engineering stuff please state that you do know what and why you are doing but you know how it looks, and that's all. I am fan of you bro, but know your limits. peace
