Astoundingly well preserved. This is a literal time capsule. All that NOS equipment sealed, all the period technology and even papers left standing like a photograph from yesterday. How is everything still so clean? And there's even power...just amazing. It's funny that it ended up being from the 90's - it looks more like the 70's to American eyes. Thank you for documenting this place...the history is alive thanks to you!

So fun fact the blue car Shiey found is called an SMZ Cyclecar, it was made for disabled people, hence the "pedals" on the wheel. I think they're quite rare especially the earlier models since you had to turn them in for a new one every 5 years, and they weren't for sale to the public, only disabled people could lease them.

This Bunker is located in my country, Latvia. Thank you for not disclosing the exact location of it so no one vandalizes it. If anyone is interested in seeing one of these legally and in a maintained state google - Soviet bunker Ligatne. The bunker there still has all the soviet paraphernalia required to survive a nuclear apocalypse - busts of Lenin, propaganda posters, hammers and sickles and angry Lady serving food from a large pot.

Wow..what an exciting tour, and your narrative was perfect....you got in..respectably played around ... there was a lot to look at in the bunker... What a wonderful prize to have handed down in the family...some one is very fortunate..as I assume..some one owns it..property is always in some ones name..uncover that and asking to talk about it would be simply spectacular.. There are alot of exploration videos out now...but no one ever seems to track down an owner and ask for an open interview...maybe they would be willing to walk you through and share the history.. Soon all that information will be lost forever if its not already... Your videos stimulate a lot of questions in my head.. Great video , thank you 😊

I think you should see it differently. I love Shiey's videos, I really do. But recorded or not, it's not a lost adventure. It's his. His willingness to share it with us is great, but other than that he wouldn't have to do it to become an adventure. People nowadays wanna record everything to keep memory of it and it can get kinda annoying especially at festivals and concerts. But the memory is still in you heart. Keep your memories in your heart, not on a chip. (Well, most of them ;)

Him sitting at the desk was respectful. I do so wish he would be more gentle with the equipment in the electronics rooms and vehicles. Iirc there is a bunker around Washington DC that is like this. For some reason the government wasn’t interested in repurposing it, nor were they interested in demolishing it. There are just old documents (nothing like missile codes, more like equipment manuals and long-declassified field manuals), obsolete electronics, and garbage left over from the skeleton crew that was manning the bunker when the Cold War ended. There are even calendars on the wall that end the month the bunker was abandoned.
