I have no clue how online actions work...I'm better with sewing machines than computers. What ever you don't sell, I'll buy the lot. I need all the supplies I can get for my charity! :) Thank You!!

Thrift Trader,12:13. I collect buisness cards, and would desperately love to have any you find. Of course would pay for them and postage. Please let me know how I can get my hands on them Also, the American bank trust mini calender grabbed my attention. People don't generally want these, so please think of me!

Did you sell the fabric
It's amazing how little you know about what you find. The units I have watched of yours are items and life from the 50s, 60s and 70s. There is more to life than just looking for cash.
Greetings from South Africa... seeing your dad be part of your founds, I so envy for not having my dad around. Stay blessed.
Your greatest treasure is your Grandfather. The time spent with him is precious and irreplaceable, not to mention the video of your treasure hunting together.

Love seeing pawpaw back at he. He sure enjoys going thru the stuff. This unit has to be one of you best ones.
The stamps can be soaked in a bowl of cool water for a couple of hours to unstick them. Lay flat on paper towels to dry. I have purchased them off the internet for art projects.
I would love those old patterns Would love that material, too!
Some of the ephemera would be great for crafters like me. We make junk journals. Stamps, especially cancelled out come in handy. We also use broken costume jewelry and beads, old paper, old books of ANY KIND and condition. I would love those old business cards and receipts too. Oh yeah, and any old fabric trims, etc.. I would be interested in some of those things myself.
Hi PawPaw and Mary .. Don't make Jason work you to hard now., Always Love seeing PawPaw.. WOW ya still have alot to get done there..
You could sell all that fabric and make so much money. Or make some cool clothes with it!!! The possibilities are endless!!
My Grandpa has passed and it was a joy to spend the time with your Grandpa. Thank you 😊
I remember when my late Aunt died, the family wondered if she had any money to bury her? Large unit of 5+ large drawers, had money in everything!, so we had to go through everything with a fine tooth comb, result £4,500+ cash and a bank account with £3,000+. She lived life very simply, due to having Menengitis as a teenager, and shared the house with her maiden Aunt, who passed before her! Also I remember coins and stamps too!! Quaint 🥰🥰
Oh wow she was an amazing hoarder‼️‼️‼️‼️
You hit the mother load for sure! The shelving units alone are worth what you paid for the units. Mind blowing!
But trick makes clothing patterns. I've used them and have some vintage ones right now! Some collector will be so happy with it!

I love that you go through everything and appreciate finding even a few bucks. This reminds me of the time I had to sift through my parents home to clear everything out. There was money shoved here and there, it really forced me to go through EVERY receipt and envelope...it took a long time to clear everything out. Most people would have dumped everything into a trash can. I even found a stack of love letters that my dad had written to my mom while stationed in Okinawa during WWII.

OMGOSH love the fabric I make grocery store bags with them. OMGOSH!
A stamp collector would have a heart attack to see the way you toss old stamps around.
A lot of those old receipts and lists and stuff from those wallets can be sold in 25 or 50 piece lots on Etsy as ephemera. People use them in art, jewelrymaking and collages and stuff.

Thrift Trader-I remember when I was growing up in the rural south that people would leave money in an envelope in their mailbox with a note for a book of stamps. I think that's the reason for the envelopes with the money and the receipts. I know my Mother would do that and so would my grand mother.

But the carrier was to take it, buy the postage and return the postage to the customer. Looks like she just kept the money? I would think people would complain at not getting their postage so I find it strange.

I watch a KZread channel called VIVMOM Sews and she is constantly scouring Ebay for vintage patterns. All those patterns and crafting supplies have great value.
I'm interested in seeing the fabrics. Keep an eye for the ring boxes and stuff. Someone donated a ring box to goodwill no ring but 4 100 dollar bills folded underneath the insert
Hi Jason, another good video. I can't believe you are still going through that unit and keep finding good stuff for your auctions. I just learned Papa is the same age of my dad, it's cool. I am also happy to know that Papa has a good friend like Mary and that she is also helping you unboxing. Say hi to both of them. Too bad you are back home after that lovely weekend with the family. Blessings to you and the whole family. 🤗🤗🤗
You and dad work awesome together that's so cool .I miss my mom and sister and hubby there gone I always everyone cherish your family..you have their beautiful your dad is so cool counting the money..your family my dear and your beautiful wife you guys make me laugh and cry happiness .god bless everyday be safe.
I love the hoarder storage lot. So glad your back in here. So interesting to see what she bought and saved.
I agree with Marcy, I know WAY BACK when PaPa was a "kid" like me, often we got Postage Due notices, or needed to mail something and lacked a stamp we'd tape money to something, or put it in an envelope for the carrier. and an aside to the stamps stuck together, place them in a bowl of HOT water to release the adhesive and dry them face down on a piece of glass or an UNUSED Cookie sheet, dabbing them with a paper towel will speed their dry time. Then they can be used with a glue stick to adhere them on outgoing mail.

We even did this in the 1970's and 1980's in Minnesota...taping money for a stamp or putting money in an envelope leaving it in your mailbox. Or if you had postage due the mail carrier would put the amount due in a small envelope and we'd put the money in it for them. I'm 49 yrs old.
Thanking you for sharing this. I never tire of the amazing relationship you two men share.
So much stuff in there! All those envelope for postage with money I bet even the penny given you quite a bit! Love all the old stuff in there. Can’t wait for next auction💚💚
I think your paw paw and his beautiful lady friend are really enjoying themselves. It’s great that you are spending time with them.
Love you going through those pieces of paper. Show more of that. Excites me every time you find moeny!
SAVE all those stamps. A collector knows how to get them apart
Glued to this locker. Amazing stuff. Nice to see papa back.
Back in the 80's you could put those tan envelopes in your mail box with the correct amount of change for the postage lady/man to put stamps on your mail for you.
Awesome find omg!! Must take months to actually go through all these things!! Worth it I’m sure. Get those stamps checked out $$$
Yey!! Pawpaw is BACK!🥰🥰🥰 and of course, Hi Mary!!👋
Jason, I'm so glad this is the unit that keeps on giving! Looks like there's gonna be quite a few of us lusting after the fabric 😁. Please don't forget to look for anything to do with our artist; if there's more, maybe one day we'll get it all together, and I can take a roadtrip to OK so we can take it to the museum.

And food pantries too. I can give away anything at the one where I volunteer. I'd rather GIVE stuff away to those in need who may not be able to buy at thrift stores.
I probably knew this carrier. I saw something that shows she worked out of Centennial Station in Edmond, OKLA. I was a carrier for years in Edmond.
You have a fortune of antiques there !!!
I like those shelves
You can unstick stamps over steam, or put then in the microwave with a tiny bit of water in a cup. Zap them for ten seconds and they can be unstuck. Dads smart. Those stamps may Be worth a mint. Especially to a collector!
The material and patterns are wonderful. I see and love older material.
The patterns are worth something to people who make historical clothing. Go through the stamps and sort for year and collectible value. Coins for silver and material for quality. Material can be donated to organizations who quilt.

I love old patterns. I've got one from 1910 that I framed for my sewing room.
All of your old toys and dishes are the real value in these storage units. The antique clothes and fabric ay $4.00 for fabric will pull in the $$.
You were not kidding when you said 2/3 of that unit is still full. It's the unit that never ends...
You can sell the paperwork to artists scrapbookers and ephemera sellars. Think about selling it as a lot.
The Butterick company made the patterns I used as a young sewer. The fabrics in there hopefully can be washed and used. I'm sure it's very good quality fabrics. Check your books & bibles for $$ as well. Nice find. You surely got your $ back
Pa-Pa still got it good finds!
Those International Correspondence School books are AWESOME
Go through every paper in those wallets because I have my cash stash between papers in mine. Just a woman hint there. Don’t tell anyone or I’ll have ta kill ya Jason 😂🤣😂🤣
Good to see pa out
I just love your dad he cracks me up
At 8:50 - the recipe box looks like the same pattern as my mom's dishes that I recently inherited. It is the Heartland Village pattern.
The memories youre making today .will become treasures in future years ..when youre 90 youll look around and back and find your soal on all of those memories ..
I love the old vintage stuff. The recipe card boxes you can have your mom or grandma hand write her favorite recipes on a 3” x 5” index card and you keep them in the box in the kitchen for reference. Nice find. also please remove the stack of checks in the brown wallet. I used to hide money behind my checks in case of emergency. Please let us know if you find anything. Also the back corners of the storage unit you will typically find your best scores. Good luck!
I've been waiting for y'all to get back to this!!!!!!!
Wow, what a great haul. Money to be made on this one.
Holy crap.....that fabric
That is a canvas mail bag, not sure what year. My Dad was a mail carrier starting in the late 50's. His bag was leather and by the time he was promoted to a mounted route (drove a jeep) in the mid 60's his bag remained the leather one.
Just found you guys and boy am I enjoying the shows. This lady had a BIG hording problem..which is good for you.
Awesome.. this is so cool... My husband is from PA....
the green ware box like matches a bowl my grandma had.
Find a product called UNDU, it is archivally safe and will separate the stamps and they will still be useable. It temporarily neutralizes adhesive.
16:02 I was like "Nooo, Pawpaw! Don't open it like that!" lol Someone I know once did that, and tore an end off a bill. :o
You just hit the vintage jackpot
Looking good Pa-Pa

I love how people and even resellers throw Crystal cups aside and dismiss it . I allows me to buy ones worth thousands for pennies with just a little research.

People that are saving it for occasions., like holidays or birthdays. I have a storage unit for my finds. She must have passed away or become ill to allow her stuff to be sold. I’m sure she knew where every single thing was.
My sister in law lived on a rural route in Oklahoma and years ago she would tape money to paper to pay for postage of a letter she was sending if she didn’t have a stamp.
I have enjoyed watching you hope you find a ton of money
two homes I lived out in the country I would have mail to go out but no stamps so I would put change in an envelope and leave for the mail carrier. she or he would then put the stamps on and send on it's way. The last time I was able to do that was in mid 1980's. After that they would no longer honor that method.
