⚓️Found a MAN on a UNINHABITED Island 🙉😱 Spearfishing went wrong! Attacked by a SNAKE 🏖

We ended up on a desert island. On the first day we did not manage to find food and water, so we made a home-made Jail and now we will be engaged in SPEARFISHING. That's just a giant monitor lizard blocked our way and does not let us into our camp. In the jungle we found scraps of fresh bamboo! Who else lives on this island? Pandas? Elephants? Gorillas? Savages? Or Super Sus?!?

bamboo is very sharp you take a slice of it as you did and you can cut up meat like a wild pig with it, if your blade is dull you peel back a section as if you were peeling off a chipped fingernail and then you have a sharp blade again, you can also harden a sharp point over a fire with it, get it hot enough to blacken but do not burn it, if you burn it start over again, can aslo be straightened with heat from a fire warm the spot you want to bend

The snake is venomous. It looks to be a many-banded Krait. And according to Google lens.. Also known as a Taiwanese Krait, or the Chinese Krat. It is a venomous species of the elapid snake. It's found in much of Central and Southern China and southeast Asia. The species was first described by the scientist Edward Blyth in 1861. Looks also like a malayan Krait. Still a high venomous species of snake. According to Google it's in Penisular Malaysia, central Vietnam, Thailand, Bali, Lao peoples democratic Republic, Indonesia, Singapore and Sumatra.

@@alanc4585 The Latin root words for millipede are mille which means thousand and ped which means foot. I understand what you're thinking though, "How can it be one thousand when million doesn't mean thousand?", and you're right if that's what you were thinking, million doesn't indicate one thousand, million indicates one thousand thousand (yes, I meant to type thousand twice), 1,000 times 1,000 in other words, as a further example billion means 2,000 times 1,000, and trillion means 3,000 times 1,000 and so on. The word million comes from Italian (still using the Latin word mille as a base word) meaning "a great thousand".

The plant that looked like a green pine cone on a long stalk is ginger. The root may be okay as a seasoning. The pine cone looking thing might eventually turn red and fill with a juice you might like as aftershave...or it might make you break out in hives. I agree the pineapple is almost certainly a pineapple but wait until the skin gets kind of yellow before eating or it will make you ill. When properly ripe, there is nothing better than a fresh pineapple. The banana is banana or plantain I think and might not kill you. The thing about tropical fruits is there may be hundreds or thousands of varieties of each kind and I have no idea if all are eatable. It would be best to gradually increase the amount you eat of each new thing so that maybe you'll get sick as a warning instead of dying or getting very sick. I would cook everything before eating. It isn't so much that it is more dirty than at home as you may not have been exposed to the new microorganisms so you don't have immunity. It would be an excellent idea to make friends with the other guy on the island since he probably knows a hell of a lot more than any of us about living there. Or he may be crazy and have you for dinner🙂 The millipede you came across reminds me of my nightmare camping trip where I set up my tent and make my fire in the dark. When the fire finally allowed me to see, all of the ground I could see was writhing in millipedes that size. I don't know what the large spider is, but they or close kin seem to be in the southern US too. I used to have one outside my bedroom window as a sort of wild pet. Its body, not counting legs, eventually got to about 10cm-15cm long. Their webs will easily get to 6 meters in diameter. I've seen small birds get caught in it. They are a little intimidating but I never had one hurt me or try to that I know of. Yes, bamboo will cut like glass, best dull fresh edges by scraping on a rock, unless you want a not-great knife. Sleep tight and don't let the panda's bite.

Bitter doesn't always mean poisonous, it means alkalinity (over 7 pH), in contrast, sour means acidity (under 7 pH). Most medicines are bitter, and some countries just call them "bitters" rather than medicine. All but one of my medicines at home are bitter. But yeah, don't eat anything that you're not sure of. If you're in a survival situation and you have to eat and you have no other options, you can try touching a plant to your skin first to see if there's a reaction like itching, or rashes, or heat, or cold, wait about 15 minutes, if there's no reaction then touch it to your tongue, and wait a half hour, if your tongue doesn't develop any strange sensation after 15 minutes, eat a tiny, half peanut-sized bite, and wait a half hour, if you still feel fine, take a bite twice as big as the last. When you work your way up taking whole bites and a half hour later nothing bad happens, at that point you can safely assume the plant is non-toxic.

I don't think there are many pine trees or pine snakes in the tropics. Other commenters seem to think it's a Blue Krait - very deadly: 75% mortality rate if a bite is untreated.

ooh also... when spear fishing; look which way the fish is pointing, judge the fish's speed, then aim an intercept course...those spiny urchins are edible, watch out not to get poked! they're poisonous! bust the spines away safely and crack the core open... it'll be a snotty orange or pale cream color meat, boil it into soup! that monitor lizard may also be edible; but could also become an untrustworthy pet of sorts.. its presence could keep other things away, but you must be prepared to kill it in self-defense at a moment's notice. you can make rope by lacing dry grass amongst each other just place each bundle halfway down from each other, until it's as long as you want it, ( on open enough beach is a good place to do this) then twist it...then make a bunch of those and braid them...it'll be crude but strong enough to hold a bit of weight! Remember, you're a human... even predators are on the menu if they cross you. stay safe guys, play smart!

those sea urchins are great for fishing in general, when careful you can drop a stone on them causing them to get crushed, then all the fish around will come towards it, if you have something like a simple fishingnet you can put it over it and once the fish gome towards it you can slowly pull the edges up and then the entire net. fish really like sea urchins, just be careful with the very poisonous ones, but the normal sharp ones work insanely well as bait, and crushing them prevents you from stepping on them. so it might be smart to try it out at the place where you like to enter the sea.

They are definitely on an island near Pattaya & Rayong. The question is supplies. Water would be the main concern. They'd be wanting at least 4 litres each per day. Spread that over the course of a month and it's (3x4)x30 = 360. There's no way they'd have 100s of litres of water available. Coconuts can help a lot. They can go for a month on minimal food, but it's the water that counts. We'll have to wait out the entire series to see.

Hey! Sea urchins both eat and defecate from the same opening. Basically, the insides are like a jar, where food goes in, gets digested, then goes back out the same way it came in. When you eat an urchin, you're not eating the poop. You're actually eating the reproductive organs (gonads) themselves. On the West Coast of the US, there's actually a lot of people that eat them, especially California. There's many ways to prepare them, even raw, but you're eating organ (gonad) tissue, not fecal matter.
