@@TheBernium well, I am not gonna argue your point of view but for me it's not relevant. It's a very unique channel and I enjoy all the videos. I imagine they do what they can, maybe they are busy with other jobs or whatever. I watch all this content for free and I am grateful.

Really cool video. The heavy duty motors and chains / mechanisms for the escalators and the self closing door were so interesting.

In Germany, we call it "Störungen im Betriebsablauf" and I think it'S beautiful.

cool underground expedition to mechanical room under the escalator, I feel claustrophobic watching you guys - stay safe

I am very skinny but I do not know I could fit down that.. That said that ladder is not needed for a area that small unless it opens up. You could just use your legs and hands to hold onto the sides to lower yourself that way. ( I have done stuff like that in the past. Of course looking at the bottom area, the ladder is not as needed if things are stacked to reach.. Admittedly it would not be easy to setup a solid enough area to drop to with still having a way back up. )

There are no lasers. Otherwise they would a) be tripped all the time by rats and b) it’s way to dirty down there for a laser to work for long. They use magnetic contacts to know if a train enters a section.

it seems that the USSR was always in a state of panic, almost paranoia - thinking they had to be on high alert in case of war. all the bunkers and stuff, must have been a tough way to live sometimes, living in fear had to be hell. :( cool doors though :)
