I Met Him At A Phillies Dodgers Game He Caught EVERYTHING!

Well I've caught two balls and thought that was impressive... But i also gave both of them to a younger fan near me. It's a thrill to catch one but even better seeing the enjoyment of a little kid getting a major league ball. I now when i was little whenever i went to a game I would pray the whole car ride to the dome asking God to give me a ball... That never happened. So don't be a jerk to a little kid it's a 2$ ball you can get anywhere give the kid a ball.

This young man enjoys doing what he's doing and he enjoys it immensely-He's even written a book about it and he's also a college grad-this is a hobby to him to go to each and every MLB baseball park-including Chicago's Wrigley Field

Imagine foul balls being the highlight of your life. I'm so proud of his passion. Because as a human being I honestly could never achieve that goal.

I'm all for this creativity and ingenuity with playing the park and predicting where the ball goes but how many teary-eyed kids has he disappointed while holding 5 balls from batting practice and refusing to give up his 6th of the day to a little kid who lost it off the edge of his glove? Doesn't sound like he ever gives up any. There are plenty of people who would be thrilled to get a ball (whether they catch it or not). Heck, Id be happy for just one ball from one game one time much less a collection... I still haven't got one (thank you random Dodgers fan for hogging 5 balls during batting practice and SCREAMING at the outfielder to throw you more).

Im from Australia, I've been to 4 MLB games in my life, caught 2 home runs and 2 foul balls.. from what I'm reading in the comments i consider myself very very lucky.. The Home Runs were A-Rod (Legend) *I have to love him because he was my first home run ball and second Nick Markakis

That’s awesome that you’ve averaged catching one ball per game. I have a few foul balls from minor league games but I’ve never caught a home run.

I never once knocked him for passion at all. I'm just saying dude's an adult still bringing gloves to the game, just to get baseballs when he already has many. Why not let some little kids have those baseballs instead of yelling at outfielders to throw him some more when he already has some from the game already. I was at a Cardinals game once and had a ball fly right at me i was so hyped I got up went to catch and then bam i am knocked out because some douche pushed me over a seat and made me knock my head on another. But luckily for me I got back up after a minute or so, and one of the players gave me a autographed ball because he saw what happened. P.S. this was when i was 9.

Blazers13 if you go early to the pre-game. You will catch a bunch of balls from the teams practicing.

At least this kid uses a reg sized glove. There's an older guy at AT&T Park in left field bleachers, whose glove is almost the same size as the Coca Cola Sculpture. Plus he has no problem bowling over anybody, including little kids, in his attempt to catch the ball. During BP, my 15 yr old nephew had a ball coming straight towards him, then at last minute, the douche bag comes flying across the bleachers, knocking over people's drinks & food in process, and swipes ball out of my nephew's hands. A-hole left the area fast, before anyone could do or say anything.

I don't get why people be hating on him that's his passion and goal to get all those baseball I'm pretty sure people have goals or dreams life's short and you only live once take advantage of it and fulfill yours dreams even if it's collecting Major league baseballs

Foul balls are either given to kids or they catch them. Its how baseball rolls.

If I caught a ball I would probably offer it to a kid near me, because it would likely mean a lot more to a kid than to me. If it was a homerun ball however, I would want to keep it. But for this guy it's more like a hobby, and a hobby is a different thing entirely. He collects them, and seriously. I have had serious hobby's where I have collected things , so I can understand a little where he is coming from.

if I had a little kid with me ,and a ball I know I was gonna catch was coming to me and this dude jumped up in front of me ,and pushed me over to catch it,he'd wake up in the hospital. Im not jealous of anything but the dude is running people over to catch it . Ruins the fun totally ,stay in your own open area and wait for one ,it isnt a life or death situation. you can see on the other people in the crowd that they think he's a total dick . Dodger films has my vote ,give it to the kids if its not an important ball man.

This guy is doing a disservice to the sport. Take a picture of a ball and give it to a kid or let them get it. Nothing is better for the game of baseball than having a kid catch a home run ball even at batting practice. It may make him a lifetime fan or player.

I have been to 7 MLB games and have caught 2 balls.

I got 4 in one game once because I went really early and caught a 3 of the practice balls they were hitting. And then I caught a foul ball in the game.

I met this guy during Yankees BP. I said hi and stuff and I got a ball and he started screaming swear words and he was pretty pissed he didn't get it. I'm here like this is my first ball man you have like 10,000. He did catch one after that though
