I love a beautiful foster fail story. Charles is definitely a wonderful addition to the family.

Not all great stories need a SURPRISE ending. I think most of us expected Charles to stay. He is the perfect fit for this family!

The footsteps I understand❤, the snuggling up around your head at night, I understand ❤. The waking up at 5am ( for us as he can'tsee if its light) is hard . I also have a Pug puppy who's completely blind that we rescued . The snuggles and love in return are worth it all for all the kisses that are given out for all the bumped noses❤

I love a great foster fail story. I mean, fostering is important but sometimes, it's ok if the two find that special, unbreakable bond.

OH my God thank you for saving his life I had a dog that was deaf and he was the most loving caring protective dog you could ever imagine ❤️❤️❤️👊👊👊❤️❤️❤️

What a beautiful thing to wake up to, the story about Charles. When I first seen him I thought of is he needs the help right now. So he's not laying in a kennel and being passed by because of his disability of not being able to see. Charles was a true blessing for you and your family and heart. When you took the time to just make a clicking sound, you could see the excitement he just comes to life knowing that his mom is there for him. He's a really special dog that gives nothing but pure happiness and love to you and your family. It's like a breath of fresh air to see him know the sounds of love just from you walking. And when he comes running for you he doesn't miss a beat with his energy or love. I noticed that he doesn't run into stuff when he comes wagging his whole body. Thank you for being you, I was so worried about him being taken in by a family with good intentions of taking your hand work and him going into a deep depression and finding Charles being placed in a crate or tied up outside. You mentioned something about your last dog being a service dog for your heart. I know that feeling all to well for I have a 16 almost 17 years old and she wasn't trained for my heart or my pacemaker I received in 2013. She just knows somehow to check on me during the night if she doesn't like whatever that triggerers her maybe she can hear my pacemaker I don't have a clue. But she will come to sit by me bedside and make a sound like she wants me to wake up and lay down with her for a bit. She used to sleep in the bed with me, but her age and her back hips had stopped that. I built her a set of steps. She has used them a few times. But the last time she missed the middle one and froze up and wouldn't move until I helped her down. Now she doesn't even want to try them. Sorry for the long post I wanted to just share that, and thank you for adopting Charles. You need him just as much as he needs you and the family. You have many more years of happiness ahead so enjoy your time together. Charles and you brought me so much happiness this morning. I wish we could stay in contact for I'd be happy seeing him grow. God bless you and yours and once again thank you for sharing your story.

Stories like this help me not to completely lose faith in humanity...i wish that all animals would be treated like this...with love, compassion, confidence and affection...how a person treats animals says a lot about the person .
