I’ve been waiting for this for a long time, I’m hope this platform approach pays off in the long-run

I personally like the idea of RPG elements added to leveling up cars. Adds more value to investing into a car. Wasn't a big fan of being showered in hyper cars

I agree. In most games you can just buy a car, modify it with all the best parts, download a tune and that's it.

Yeah i want more weight felt when getting a new car or special upgrade i wanted. I like this idea

For a casual player i dont know if i will stick to one car . So for me it might feel like a grind trying to unlock upgrades for alot of cars

As a lifelong Forza fan, I don't like that they try to make every game a second job in the name of "engagement". I wish they would value our time and stop restricting player choice.

You don't have to stick to one car, you just have to change less often. The way it looks now is that you probably change your car for every play session, which is usually how I play Forza anyways.

It’s like the old forza motorsport where you get discounts as you level up from manufacturers

I played it for 2 hours, the graphics are one of the worst in the series, it is so underwhelming, crazy overexposure of parts and so on. Tested on max RT and what not on 4090.

Usually, forza has assists, and with that, you should be able to choose from driving lines, assisted steering, auto brake and such. Sim racing is better with a wheel, but forza;s handling models are great on controller. Do you need a racing wheel? Na. Is it good to get one, for sim racing, yeah sure, If you are a beginner, just get any wheel, maybe look for second hand ones just to get a feel first. Maybe Hori Racing Wheel for XBOX series? I see them going for 45GBP/$55 second hand,

Depends how much money you wanna throw at it. Either the Logitech G920, which is a solid mid range. Or if you want to splurge a little bit but go for the Thrustmaster TX

The absence of microtransactions doesn't make you feel like buying cars in real-life. Should have been scored lower.

Ngl, a “review in progress” feels like a rushed way to get a “sort of review” out the door as fast as possible. Just call it “impressions” and take your time with the real review. We don’t need a “live service review” alongside our live service games

Need to be able to auto upgrade but within a chosen class.

Only disappointment is that you can’t get the physical disc for the Xbox one x and on game pass it’s all cloud which isn’t the greatest of things so I will definitely miss out on this hype

It felt a bit over the top with using big words. Like do you need to add all of these "awesome" and "groundbraking" words to just describe that tuning is very detailed? It has been for the past 15 years. It is exactly the same as most of the games of this type. And don't make casual racing enthusiasts fool you, this is NOT a sim racing title. This is a SimCade, which just closer to sim than arcade, but still it is miles away from the likes of iRacing and Asetto Corsa. It never meant to be proper sim, just wish reviewers were clear when describing what this game really is.

I won't buy the next Forza game if it has this progression system in it. I seriously wish I knew this before I bought it. Smh

Why not so a review in progress for starfield instead of only 55 hours for a full review

This review make way more sense than the IGN one. They gave the microtransactions filled $70 GT7 a better score than Forza which is on Gamepass, has no microtransactions and looks better.

The career mode is structured in the same way as in the predecessors. Stop praising this as a innovation. The only new thing is the CarPG stuff.

Way better review than the ign one. I really want to work to get new cars, not like the horizon way, where everybody just throws new cars at you.

It's tiring that FORZA is going back to circuit-based racing, it's a well-worn aspect of FORZA games that need to be given a serious shakeup. Whether this FORZA Motorsport is the game to give it that shakeup I'm doubtful, but it should be indulgent for a little while at least.

RIP Gran Turismo, you won't be missed.

I LOATHE how they throw you completely unprepared right into the middle of a race directly after starting these games. No chance to get familiar with the car or even setting up your difficulty and assist levels... Or configuring your steering wheel... Always starts with me cursing and spitting fire for 5 minutes right off the bat...

The game looks great, shame, that they decided to reuse old models like the S15 instead of reworking them and adding them later on. GT7 took that risk and despite all its problems, car models and attention to detail are not among them. Overall looks like a great experience, hoping they invest the time into improving it and later on getting rid of that god awful forza aero and replacing it with a system similar to GT7 where you can create a custom wing.

Looks like it has potential but without Nordschleife it is a write off.
