These in game settings will work with all FFB wheels 👍 Not saying these are the best settings but they will let you feel the gane and drive naturally , much better than the defults .

I can't thank you enough for sharing your settings. I have the DD Pro 8NM and have been doing it all wrong since I got it 6 months ago. I love the smoothness of your settings and the force when you try to turn, it's awesome and has been extremely helpful advice. Forza 8 feels so much more 'correct' in it's driving model now. These settings are spot on for my Moza R16. Had to turn my strength down a smidge but yeah, thank you VERY MUCH :)

Bug i found is the settings default back to base csldd default on the input. So just reselect the custom input when you load the game.

Yeah this also happens on my Moza R9 everytime I boot the game is doesn't remember the last wheel profile I had selected and defaults to Moza CS which is rather annoying

I don’t have any force feedback with my drive hub.

Have a little fiddle occasionally to make things feel better.

@EgoDeathRacer oh I love motorsort. I just got gt dd pro with Mclaren and wrc rims a day ago. Also load cell pedal and just got it all hooked up. Now, going thru wheel settings in motorsport. Wow, what a difference the wheel makes, my friend. It will rip your arm off in a crash. Gt7 only has 2 wheel settings in game.

Nice setup totally agree, i too have csl dd 8nm is enough for me, with v3 pedals, havent played that much with motorsport mostly just contoller atm for pickup n play fun. I reckon 6 months down the line this game will just get better, however wont be a true sim with 8 contact points per tyre thats pure bs. Enjoy@@PageCrowes

It is not supported. I use nvidia surround for now, but unfortunately that’s your only option. Hopefully we will get real triple support in the future.

Why are you using an ancient old driver 442, which was pulled by Fanatec because it bricked Bases? You should definitely update to the latest driver 451 for the best experience as all drivers after 442 improved the CSL DD significantly. Also, is there a reason you use FFS LINEAR Mode which limits your base to just 6 Nm instead of the 8 Nm it could reach in PEAK Mode?

I have like 8 DD wheel bases 3 fanatec DD wheels , this one was on my PS5 rig anly just moved it over to pc rig. It's been working fine as it is to be honest. As for lin and peak modes I'd just switch between them depending on car / SIM , Sims or cars with more subtle ffb I'd use peak. Mind you with non boost pack CSL DD id probably always use peak and with podium DD id almost always use lin. Peak can make ffb a bit abrupt and compact feeling , but then in lower power settings or with heavier wheel rims on Csl DD it can be better just depends really. End of the day so long as you can feel the detail the SIM puts out and ffb is consistent and in time with the SIM most things don't matter and it's just a general case of preferences. Unfortunately lots of Sims / games simply don't put out the details in the first place ( regardless of wheel base or settings)

First of all I recommend turning Steering Self Alignment to 0. Anything more will result that your car will try to steer left/right before a track turn. I don't even know how this setting is in FF setting area?

Self aligning torque is the tendency for a car to want to go the path of least resistance which typically means the wheels want to straighten out in the direction of travel. It's one of the most important forces to convey in force feedback. If you notice the wheel is pulling into corners instead of fighting you, it means this force needs to be inverted for your particular wheel. You're getting opposite values right now. There is an option to "invert force feedback" in Forza. Try that and use GamerMuscle's settings otherwise. See how that feels.

@@xPvtMurphyx Yes, I inverted steering FF in menu and now it can feel a little more realistic. Still FF in FM is all over the place and even after a day of tweaking I can't manage to set up it to feel at leat 50% of what I can feel in AC or Automobilista 2. :/ Overall the game is pretty nice and looks great.

Have you press down and gone furthest to the right on the telemetry to check for clipping

Yes , but to be honest you can feel if ffb is clipping in your hands by the fact the ffb will just feel like a constant force with no detail / dynamic range and details will disappear when going through a corner.

Is the FPS really locked to 60fps when racing online or is it just the physics?

Online ranked racing is locked to 60fps yes ironically the game then often dips under 60fps and causes stuttering. Single player is unlocked but FPS is pretty bad in this game I general compared to Forza horizon and other games.

Right now if you set your game to 60fps V-Sync in the game settings, it won't actually limit your FPS, including online. I imagine they'll fix this soon lol

I have multiple sim-rigs and 8+ wheels and move wheels around depending on what I'm reviewing or doing. I did have a weard issue with the power on the podium DD though , not sure of if it's the power pack or my wall socket and load on that socket. Haven't had time to test it fully.

Just tried my Moza R5 for the first time and it is just unplayable. What a shame. Copying these settings changed nothing.

There are a couple of video setting bugs that can occur randomly which can give you poor fps. A 2080 super with a mid range cpu should get you locked 60 with everything on low+RT everything @1440p. Some settings dont change till you restart the game. The PC version could do with a few patches, is clear they have been busy with the console version.

Bloody youtubers telling us how to set things up instead of letting us try everything for ourselves, especially if they haven't spent hours obsessing over it themselves smh

Everyone doing these videos are changing controller advanced settings aren't they? Advanced wheel settings are 2 clicks to the right of the settings you're changing

FFB stands for Fresh Feeling (Bad)

Refunded Forza already - spent more time in the settings trying to make things work than playing. Dont start me on the FFB, crazy that a new game with 'motorsport' in the title can have FFB that terrible.

Majority of good PC sims you need to dial in the settings anyway. When you dial in the settings, this Forza feels pretty great.

Almost every game requires tweaking cos no 2 wheels are the same . Also it can just easily be fixed with a patch that has presets . The game is amazing amd looks awesome, returning it just cos u can’t spend 10 mins googling settings or tweaking it just once yourself is weird behaviour. Find it hard to believe .

Runs fine for me. Spent maybe 30 mins tweaking the settings and I have total control of the vehicles and my lap times get better and better. One of the better playing Forza games on a wheel that I can recall.

Its not really about "better or worse " settings the settings I have given in this video are just a good baseline / let you know whats going on in the game just fine , im sure somone could tweek things in a whole number of ways and people will also have a certain feel they like or don't like. Personally I'm not really that fussy about specifc ffb feel so long as a game gives info to drive from and the wheel makes it esear to drive rather than harder.
