Great job there guys (recording) Lotus eh? Interesting. It's my current favorite team in F1. I wonder how it compares with Codemasters' effort. Thank you for sharing this.

Before you experience this first hand you should watch what you say guys. This is far superior than F1 2013 and coming from a FANATEC Elite w/Clubsport pedal setup the TX wheel isnt actually too bad. It has great feedback but just doesnt quite have the quality feel of Elite. This game is stellar even compared to PC sims. Far more fun than iRacing and graphics are gorgeous. I am still pissed that my FANATEC rig doesnt work but great game for sure

If you want realism then iRacing is very far ahead of Forza, which is essentially still an arcade racer. iRacing challenges you to learn from your mistakes, practice and improve. Plus the community is always there to give you help!

***** agreed but I-racing costs money all the time, however racers have to respect their competitors, unlike most other multiplayer racers

Thank God, a bonnet cam which keeps you from seeing the stupid shifting animations!

***** Yes but the other Forzas didn't have these shifting animations in combination with an F1 car and every video I had seen before this one ran the Lotus in the cockpit cam and I couldn't pay attention to the beauty of the rest of this game because I was so focussed on these ridiculous animations.

second vid I seen now where the best lap is 12 sec slower than what a f1 car should be doing around these tracks! 2nd gear for first corner and 3rd for turn 3 :) NOTHING like what a F1 car is like! I bet F1 2013 is much more fun to play than this attempt at a F1 car! Forza really does seem rushed and all about the dlc from what I can see

The reason it is rushed is because of Microsoft wanting the game as a launch title. Not because turn 10 thought the game was 100% ready and polished. The micro-transactions and dlc were probably also pushed by Microsoft for next gen

Yes your bad laptop can run games like gtr2, race07 and many other racing simulators, that really give you the feeling of a real racing car

Yes.. The current F1 Intergral works on the TX wheel. So does the GTE rim

As good as Forza Motorsports is, just leave the Formula 1 to Codemasters.

Just give the Formula 1 licence to Kunos :) F1 series in Assetto Corsa, yeaahh...

Is there noticeable input lag between the wheel and game? With in car view it seems the animated wheel and hands are always behind, but curious if this is just an animation issue or if there is noticeable lag?

I think the PSI in the lotus' tires is too high..he was losing traction at the end of the race. I agree the races are too short with little stategym I found myself wanting to take out a stock car on the track as well but..u are at a disadvantage if you dont upgrade to the top of the class. I was surprised that a GT3 car doesnt have top BHP or brakes. Little annoying as well. Nurburgring and others are coming in the next week or so.

would you compare forza 5 to games like f1 2013 (arcadish) or maybe something more of a simulation like rfactor?

This car doesn't seem to be doing anything realistic in the slow corners. Looks really sluggish..

5th and it took 2 spin outs. Unbeatable in 3/4 laps is a joke. It encourages bad bump driving to pass. He drove a good race and got 5th. Granted also...most of his friends drivatars are good drivers...disadvantage (or advantageous:) of having xbox live friends who know how to drive. Half my drivatar friends suck and the other half are 50% synced and amazing! 3/4 laps is too short on an unfinished feature deprived game. Its a launch title..and being updated. ..like yesterday.

F1 2013 is a sim racer. Hello. Has the licence. And cars sound awfull. And from a forza game. Odear. Very american view on f1m sound like nasty indy cars. High reving strimmers. No f1 in a car game. Whats the point 4 a start
