Спорт

This video is designed to help skaters of all levels learn and improve their forward stroking using simple, effective exercises. Whether you're a beginner just starting out or an advanced skater looking to refine your technique, these on-ice exercises will enhance your forward stroking skills.
During stroking, remember to focus on proper posture with your back straight and head up, knee and ankle bend, and keeping your arms stretched out to the side. Push with the inside edge and extend your free leg with your foot turned out and pointed. Keep your hips over your skating foot and make sure to bend your ankle and knee before you push.
Incorporate these tips and drills into your regular practice to build strength, control, and fluidity in your forward stroking. Watch, learn, and practice to see significant improvements in your skating performance.

Thank you clarifying forward stroking is not on edges but flats I always wondered that. I mean push with knees and ankles bent using inside edge with skating foot and free leg on flat? Your boy students are so cute reminds me of my son when he was little . Also the very first skater @00:25 I have been an admirer of her forward right inside mohawk I aspire for mine to be similar one day !

Your skating leg is your pushing leg, so, yes, you will push with inside edge during transition from one foot to another, but you will not be gliding on the edge, otherwise it will be forward inside edge and not stroking.

First !! TS 1:20 ish - wow, those shoelaces are out of control. That seems like a serious trip / snag hazard.

Regarding the shoelaces, safety is definitely a priority in skating. Ensuring laces are securely tied and tucked away properly can help prevent any trip or snag hazards. Thanks for pointing that out!
