Figure Skating Edges Workout (10 Laps - Perfect For Beginners)

Are you a skater who gets on the ice and then doesn't know what they should be practicing? Then here is something that is going to help! ►► www.nextedgetutorials.com/tra..." The Training Session Planner For Figure Skaters" → Download our FREE PDF Guide
All figure skaters know they should be working on their deep edges, but finding time in the session and knowing what to do can make it challenging. What exercises should I be doing? How long should I do them for? What do I do next?
Well in this lesson we have made it super easy by putting together a on-ice workout aimed at targeting those deep edges! Be sure to take your breaks when necessary between each exercise and finish those exercises with beautiful landings!
The exercises we'll be doing are:
1. Forward Inside Edges
2. Forward Cross Rolls
3. Forward Crossover - Inside Edge
4. Chasse's to Forward Outside Edge
5. Forward Crossover & 3 Inside Edges
Happy Skating!
- Mitch & Stacey

I've done these exercises every time I go skating. Now I start taking arm movements and concentrate in doing those edges seriously (but smiling). Thank you, Stacy and Mitch for being so warm and joyful.

I just tried those exercises today in my warm up and I loved it! It really is a wonderful mix of edges and movements and the arms were eye opening! I guess I have to work more on it - I neglect it oftentimes. I would also love another video of this one! Maybe some intermediate exercises, too. Or even different beginner exercises from these ones. This was SO GOOD to work with! Thank you! ❤

I can do all those, but I keep my arms level. It's good to see the different arm movements. Thanks for sharing. Yes I agree, most important to finish all your moves, spins and jumps 😊.
