I think its the time travel cause of the overtime challenges making the season 9 skins younger and older, and the first teaser to season 10 shown on world cup, Dusty Depot is coming back.

I think that the nexus orb will explode and destroy the map but it will also create kinda like a rift situation but it would bring back old parts of the map like dusty and moisty

The locations that are most in need of a change are not Neo Tilted, but the broken, castle-less remains of Polar Peak and the frozen lake (because nobody goes there and the loot is suboptimal) and the ruins of the old Supervillain Lair rocket launch facility. If Epic are so stupid to remove ballers, whicj I hope not, they might as well remove Frosty Flights, because without planes or ballers they whole airfield location is pointless. Snobby Shores needs more infrastructure connection... the area itself is good, it has a lot of loot, but the issue with Snobby and Haunted Hills is that they are stuck at the coast behind this row of mountains. Back in Season 7, when we had planes and ziplines that connected Stunt Mountain and the Rocket Lair mountain and Viking Mountain and let up/down from the Expedition Outpost in the valley up to the mountaintops, the mountaintops were actually be visited. But removing those ziplines and a lot of the rifts around Viking Mountain made players avoid the steep mountains again. And no zipline ever went _up_ from Snobby to the Rocket Lair... you could use hop rocks hidden in the Rocket Lair to jump down to Snobby, but couldn't get up without wasting a lot of time and materials by building ramps up, which noone ever bothered to do. At least now there is a guaranteed Quadwrangler spawn at the northernmost house of Snobby, with 1-3 quads.

I think by time travel fortnite is trying to say they will bring a season back like for example the map might change into the season 3 map, as showcased on the first teaser of Season 10.
