i am really upset they didnt bring back old challenges. and overall it feels like they didnt really put much work into this season

Running up the snowy mountains of polar Peak and revisting the volcano, lazy lagoon and sunny steps were the only things I was most looking forward for. This isn't season og this is season quarter og

I will answer a few questions: - Why is there no volcano? • because the Ice King didn't come to this island (only his castle), which means that either the Fire King stay with Ice King or he is deep under the snow or somewhere on the map, either way there are no Hybrid eggs soo he dosent have a army for his "power". - why is there no neo tilted or mega mall? • Mega mall and Neo Tilted was bulid after Volcano destroy them soo without Volcano they never get destroy, and even if they were destroy Neo Tilted (maybe mega mall too) was powered by zero point, soo if there no open way to zero point, there no power for them.

This season had so much potential, yet they only added frosty. Epic left the whole top right of the map alone :(((

Double pump got removed in season 4 and we got sent to season 5 so there was 100% no chance it was going to come back

The drift boards have been soooo much fun to play with. I hope they bring them back more often.

I think the community is not liking this season since they created to much expectations about it being Fortnite chapter 1. A lot of us expected so many things without thinking what epic is able to do now and what is better to the community.

I never got to play chapter 1, so I’m extremely angry that I can’t play it in all its glory. I wish we could have a way to play old maps, like in creative or something. It would be amazing, as a lot of people never played proper OG Fortnite.

I haven’t heard anyone talk about this but my theory to why volcano isn’t returning is because of the first weekly challenge “Visit all named locations” so if they add the volcano the upper right area will be changed so you wouldn’t be able to complete the challenge.

This events gonna be crazy, the cube is still here, the momster is probably roaming around the island and there will be no mech to fight it with since the volacano aint here and the rocket is gonna be there aswell

Also all the skin challenges that weren’t time gated back then aren’t working. I guess The Prisoner skin was truly forgotten despite being shown transforming in the trailer. Pretty misleading as I came back just to unlock the styles for these old skins I missed…if we still have the skins the challenges should still work, a lot to ask but would have been so cool. (since I grinded out The Prisoner skin when I used to be able to play with my brother & the secret challenge glitched out back then after learning about it with only few days of the season left…things like that would mean a lot to so many people/ would bring even more OG players back)

The block is an example of that one guy ruining it for everyone

Something I really don’t get is The OG default skins regularly come out every 40 something days apparently from a website that tracks that stuff and it’s been over 60 now so they should drop at anytime again and unfortunately I started playing again 2 days after they were in the item shop last I’ll personally be pretty disappointed if they don’t come out again with enough time to actually use them on the OG map it’s my fault I don’t have them but it would so cool to use Jonsey the first and headhunter on the OG map I really thought it would be one of the first item shop drops I wonder why it wasn’t as we are almost 3 out of 4 weeks through it now and they haven’t dropped the most OG default skins they’ve been released enough it’s not like they are rare like the glider and pickaxe that only dropped once, at this point for the ones that don’t have it we will only get less than 2 weeks and that’s if they dropped tomorrow and if not we get less and less time,sorry I’m done with the vent I had to let that out😂😂😂😂🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

At this point I think Epic is just trolling when they add those files for the data miners. I am reletivly new just (started last summer) to the game, but I see the liers pattern bright as day from Epic.

The one thing i missed was when yhe only thing you needed to do to get a skin's varients was to get exp. Because of this you could get a skins other outfits outside of the season its from. I got that one chrome skin with the guy made out of it with the base changes because i honestly didnt care about the season. But now i wont get the other varients because i was playing during that season. Even tho i bought to battle pass and unlocked the skin im lcoked out of its other cosmetics that are just styles too the skin.

I don’t even see how this “og” season is a good idea with how op the loot used to be back then and now we have it with sweats in the caliber their in today did no one think about that fact when we begged for the season

Ceeday actually started playing this season again about a week ago and got a few wins. Then he made his account private so you can’t see if he’s been playing (on Fortnite Tracker).

When I was playing I saw a house crushed by a big monster foot so make sure you look for it (it’s on the edge of the map somewhere)

Tommy, I didn't know the volcano wasn't there where's the volcano? And more importantly, where is the mecha team leader? Should it show up by now? And also, I'm so excited for the chapter 5 event. Im just sad that i cant see the volcano or lagoon, i played through chapter 1 season 4 all the way up to now and ive loved nothing more than season 8

a lot of this makes sense reverting changes to items and vehicles that were made later on sounds like a pain especially if they bring them back in a later chapter and have to revert it back to the updated version

I thought it was og but it's not. It's a different variant of the world if the events aren't happening then were not going back to the orginal world were in, meaning it's corrupted

Even if all of this would happen, history would just repeat itself

In the season 7-8 update, I really don't like what they've done. They haven't done mini events (like kevin and stuff) and everything just feels off tbh. (I'm gonna say it and I'll keep saying it but getting rid of the ready up button after you die is stupid)

I was able to literally fly today on a quad.. no cheats, nothing. You gotta hit a ramp at a certain angle

The last one literally got removed and replaced by a 3 page shop that looks worse than the old page shop

Why did they have to change everything up? This season would be so much better if epic just did true reversions to 2018. Imagine a grey pump still doing 200+ damage. It would be so fun. Imagine a match without skill based match making. It would be so much fun. Why did they have to change it in pointless ways like not reverting gun dmg/textures and not bringing back og POI's and guns. It would not have been that hard.

It’s because of the whole storyline of Fortnite. We are in a different timeline of Fortnite OG. Basically this season isn’t the real Fortnite OG. Probably makes more sense if we see what will happen in chapter 5

The basketball toy is the only toy that isn't og, since it comes to the shop (with the basketball hoop backbling) now and again. I really wish they'd bring back toys and pets.

Sure these things arent coning back. But atleast we have the map back. Yes i miss the volcano badly but atleast it showed agian in chapter 3. But lets just be happy the chapter 1 map came back for a month

fortnite OG feels like OG fortnite without the soul

I'm convinced the reason why its not a 1:1 recreation is because they dont have the original software coding and assets for everything. It's easy to say laziness but its def likely they no longer have old stuff anymore. It explains why many props like Kevin or the pirate forts are not what they used to be - they're just creative prefabs.

Actually they have every single thing they created. They just commented the code line that it supposed to link the game mode to the main file. When you comment a code, the server won’t interpret that file cause comments are only for developers.
