All his videos are good, but his bias against cruiser style bikes came through. I prefer MotoGeo when it comes to enthusiasm for riding. A former racer, but still gets the appeal of different bikes for different purposes. Every bike is fun when ridden in its element, and challenging when ridden outside of its element. A ZX10R is fun on a race track, overkill on public roads, and downright miserable on a 500 mile a day two week tour. A Harley touring bike is fun on a tour, perfect for public roads, and risky for all but the most skilled riders on a track. Google CVO on a race track for the video and article.

@@Dave-sw2dm You didn't watch this video if you think he has a bias against cruisers. Not to mention that the Harley video didn't attack cruisers (HARLEY IS NOT ALL CRUISERS) but HD. Just because you don't like what he says/he didn't give a positive review, doesn't make him bias.

@@Dave-sw2dm Except, perhaps, for the fact that he thinks the new BMW R18 is one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever made and specifically stated how brilliant Harleys are out in the prairies after calling himself a closet cruiser lover. Cruisers are functionally flawed as are sports bikes, extremes often are. Ryan prefers dual sports, something he has never shied away from, but I have never found him to be biased against any type of bike.

As soon as Ryan said "Centrifugal 'so called' force" I knew he had to have a physics background. Only someone who has a solid background in that subject would answer that way - since there really is no such thing as a true centrifugal force. Such a cool dude. And great interview TMF!

Oh my Andy, I have a similar path to riding as Ryan, including the bike. Grew up in a house with always 2-3 bikes in the shed, but never gave a thought to getting on the back. Fast forward to about to get my drivers license at 16, when I get this idea that riding a motorcycle might be fun. So my step dad catches me sitting on what was my mom’s bike, a 1973 Honda CL200. Also available to me once I had some experience was a 1973 CB360 and a 1968 BMW R69S. So I asked if he thought I could get my motorcycle license. So pass my auto test, go back to take the written motorcycle test, when good old mom asks “just who’s motorcycle do you think you’re going to ride?” Well, dad says I can ride yours. That was a hell of a conversation. She hardly ever rode it anyway. So, once spring hit my step-dad drove the bike to our local technical school parking lot, I follow along in the car. Showed me the basics, and off I went. Couple weeks of parking lot practice and I was off! So I literally have never been a passenger on a motorcycle. Well that was back in 1974, and I caught some guff being a girl on a motorcycle, whatever. I’ll keep doing it as long as I can! Two wheels forever!

Well done, mate. Top job making it interesting. Edit; After hearing this, you gotta do a short one with Fortnine’s cinematographer Aneesh - now he seems like the real powerhouse behind the quality of the channel. Ryan obviously doesn’t seem to know much about the production side so it’ll be interesting.

Was tickled when I saw a video filmed in a lane near your shop / studio and it occurred to me, that my neighbourhood! I'm going to run into you in North Van eventually Ryan. Happy to hear even a seasoned rider like you prefers tiny on an adventure - got tired of lifting my CRF1000 AT so it's now relegated to highway and forest service roads - and an XT250 for the gnarly stuff! Thanks for the interview, loved it all.
