Probably the most deep and heart-wrenching dialogue in this movie.. If it wasn't enough for him to carry me access the mountains. Now I can't get him out of my fuc*in head. I'm lying in this bed. I kiss my children before they go to school. And he's hiding in a hole somewhere. A hole he can never get out of. A hole we put him in. That wasn't the deal. The deal was that we offered his family sanctuary. But we tied a noose around his neck and kicked the stool out from his under. I should be in that hole. You think he blessed you? Well he fuc*in cursed me. I am a man who gets no rest.

donald trump handed them all to the taliban and pulled us out just to make his political opponent look bad.. he sided with the Taliban who are now allied with Russia

I met an Afghan refugee family here in Texas. The husband/father assisted the US Army, and had to flee with his family after the disastrous US 'withdrawal'. The Taliban was hunting him, intent on killing him and his entire family (wife and eight children). The Taliban caught his father and brother and murdered them both. My friend escaped with his family and were relocated here in Texas. It has been my privilege to meet them and make friends, and help them with some stuff like fixing their vehicles and other stuff. I can't imagine what they have been through. I take so much for granted here in the US.

We abandoned a lot more then interpreters. -And they are still being hunted and slaughtered by the Taliban this very second I am writing this....And their immediate families sometimes. We are despicable.

So many people risked their lives to help soldiers they didn't even know in exchange for a better life for themselves and their families. To then be abandoned after all the sacrifices they made is absolutely disgusting.

it's like our real-life movie took an unexpected plot twist, and not the good kind! Who knew international relations could be this unpredictable? it's almost as if someone hit the rewind button and forgot about the whole "allies" part. maybe we need a sequel to explain the plot holes in our foreign policy. so grab your popcorn, it's turning into a geopolitical thriller 🍿🌐

the gouvernement didnt care about there own soldiers when they come back from war zones. Especially when they have disabilites. This has to be done by many different organisations which was founded by other military veterans to help those who are disabled.
