The former senator, who was Al Gore's running mate on the Democratic ticket in 2000, was known for having bipartisan relationships and was recently involved in the “No Labels” party.

Lieberman was NOT a Democrat, he was a registered Independent - but like Bernie he caucused with the blues. I broke my hip, or rather full pubis from a direct imppact less than a year ago. Men survive broken hips better than women on average. When I read the headline "..dies from a fall" all I could think of was Putin and the Kennedy spoiler campaign that is designed SOLELY to through the 2024 election to the House.     People quality > Party. Anyone can pretend to be anything to win votes (ex: Santos), but not everyone = high quality. McCain should have picked him even if loss seem inevitable in '08 with the market crashing and the great recession looming. I voted for Obama and waited until 1-2 am during election night for confirmation with friends, especially as Palin's choice confused me, but I would have considered McCain and thought about the choices more if he was VP.
