So in a way, it is a form of psychological slavery because it controls and restricts people's actions, words, and even thoughts and how they are suppose to feel about certain things. The people that buy into it are the guards of their own prison and keep everyone else in line by policing each other. And the people who don't buy it, keep quiet out of fear of repercussion and social alienation.

I walked away from my job cuz the new owners treated me with no respect , I lost my revenue but I still have my self respect and pride. I’ve climbed back almost to where I was and though angry about this change , it will always have been the right decision. My life is way too important than being disrespected
