This was great.Gerald Wolfe put this together on the fly & it turned out spectacular. For us long time Cathedral fans it was a historic moment because it marked only the second time since the retirement of the Cathedral Quartet that Ernie Haase & Scott Fowler had performed on stage together as "Cathedrals" & the first time that Ernie had joined Scott, Gerald and Mark in a non - Signature Sound led Cathedrals tribute. I think that they should do another Remember the Music - with Ernie this time!

I think it would be very popular given the recent release of the Moody Broadcasting recording of "The Cathedrals: Live in Chicago" by Stowtown Records, Ernie's Publishing Co. Scott is helping Ernie with the distribution on that project. I'm hoping enough Cathedral fans nominate that project for "Album of the Year" when the Singing News Fan Awards for 2013 comes along. I think it would be great to have George, Glen, Roger and the guys win the award over a decade after the Cathedral retirement!!!!

They've performed together before this and the NQC. Legacy Five and Ernie did several dates together after the Cathedral's retired. This just happened to be the second time caught on film. I was singing at a concert with Danny Funderburk and a lady was telling Danny about how Legacy Five was doing "Boundless Love", and Ernie came out and did the reprise with them. So they've performed together numerous times after the Cathedrals retired.

What a legacy Glen & George have left in gospel music. They were the very first sogo group I ever heard, and the old men are singing along with the Champion Himself.

I'm usually a fan of Funderburk over Haase, but Ernie brought his A game this day!!

I wish you had gotten a few more seconds of "after the song". The applause must have been enormous.

Awesome... It's almost what I always dreamed for a former Cathedrals reunion. I think it would be great to have the former members with their groups of today, everybody singing together, celebrating the Cathedral Quartet's heritage in Southern Gospel Music...

I remember once I had a singing instructor and it was our first lesson. She was trying to find my vocal range and went up the scale. As the scale got higher I stopped and said "I can't hit it in chest voice" and she said use your falsetto, that's what people wanna hear anyway! You don't wanna sing in chest voice all the time like those quartet gospel singers... Ha. These guys wreck any note that ever came out of her mouth. Long live southern gospel.

Really. I didn't know that. As far as I knew, the last time they were together on stage representing the Cats prior to the 2011 NQC was at the 1999 or 2000 GMA Awards ceremony singing with George and Roger on "Healing". Wish some video existed of those L-5 / Sig Sound outings. They'd be nice to see. Some promoter needs to put together some L-5, Sig Sound, Greater Vision, Mark Trammell Quartet, Danny Funderburk outings and record them to video much like the "Remember the Music".

I've heard SO many versions of this song sung by the Cathedrals, Old Friends Quartet, Legacy Five, Signature Sound, and Greater Vision. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way Ernie ended the song here. :) I just wish you could hear the bass a lot more on this version.
