Scott is one of the best singers in Southern Gospel music today!!!!!! He learned from the absolute best!!! He is one of only two Baritone/ Leadsingers in southern gospel music to win favorite baritone and favorite leadsinger in their career... The only other one is the man he learned his trade from, the legend Glen Payne!!!!

Scott has a beautiful voice.

Scott Fowler is a great talent.

Wonderful performance. Never was there a more beautiful man on any stage.

I have loved Scott Fowler's voice from the moment I first heard him sing! What a wonderful talent he posses! Keep singing Scott, we LOVE hearing you nail those notes to the wall!!! If you are ever in St. Louis, MO and want to drop by and sing some old gospel songs I would love to play and listen to you sing!

Scott is one of my favorite lead singers today. What a voice and what a testimony.

I love both Ernie and Scott! they are amazing and Ernie to me is not over rated!

George and Glen are examples that you can be Christian, but can also expect a high level of performance at the same time. All the tenors and baritones over the years were excellent in their own ways!!!

I met and know both Scott and Ernie....they are incredibly sweet and their walk with God is true. Who is the cuter of the two? I'm not going to even go down that road, but my husband is certainly tall like Ernie and of the same build and sense of humor. I could have packed Scott in the trunk of my car and took him home the first time I met him....they wouldn't let me do that! LOL

My Fave Group Of All Time The Cathedrals.. Used To Go And See Them Everytime They Came To Gainsville Georgia..

I sure miss George and Glenn. I once read that the Cathedrals were the first, and ONLY group to ever COMPLETELY sell out at the State Fair of Texas. And I can certainly see why. I would've loved to have seen them in person, just one time. One day, I will, when we all meet in Glory. 😉👍👍

I grew up with Scott in St.Louis we went to church at New Hope general bastist church in Spanish lake community one other thing I remember is our church youth group trip to six flags July 1978 what fun Scott myself and Bobby Hood had that all I'm saying about that ( lol )

I love these videos that are not commercialized or pollished. The Cats did their best stuff when it wasn't made to be marketed. Thank you, would love to see more. I have some that were made with Danny that I would put here if I could ever get savvy enough to upload them.

Keep in mind that all these are only opinions....who is greater? None. They are all equal in the eyes of God. Let's stop focusing on who is the better singer and look at what they are singing! You miss the message of the song completely when you focus on their personal weaknesses or strengths. Each have their own unique style-- Who they sing about is what matters here!

Haha, there's a comment down below me somewhere mentioning how good Ernie looks ... And that's the problem I have with Ernie. It's his looks that has everyone so wrapped up in him ... a good singer? Yes. Overrated? Without a shadow of a doubt. There are so many names I can put before his: Danny, Kirk, Mack, and so many others from various groups.

I don't think he's over rated, just different.

Not a huge fan of Ernie myself- but I don't think he's overrated. If you want SEVERELY OVER RATED, look at David Phelps! For Bill Gaither to state that he was the best, floors me. Larnelle Harris bets David phelps easily and hands down

I thought it was a song, it ended up a comedy drama! Proper notes lost, Rusty Goodman has it more proper!

Free mason hand shake. Pretty sure. Anyone else see yes or no? I want to be proven wrong. Im saddened growing up with this thinking I was pure but I was lead astray just as those who are lost. Because southern gospel music is for profit.
