They were a great group, but the Rambos' version of Gettin' Ready Today was much better.

The Imperials "Jesus made my Higher" album version had him as vocalist. That's how i found this. I looked him up and he was only with them a very short while. So good! Try that song!

A machinist by trade, my father was a talented pianist and vocalist. Every day when he came home from work, he would wash up and sit down at his piano. Even as a preschooler, I would stop what I was doing and join him in the living room. I grew up listening to him sing these beautiful songs by the Blackwood Brothers. I had the privilege of seeing them in person in the early 1970’s at the Kingsland Theater in St. Louis. My father also performed that night, with my little sister. She wore a red and white checkered dress that I made for her. Wonderful memories!

Kurt was awesome with Priority. This is a fantastic song. I have always felt bad for him, as a lot of people only know of him as one who didn't work out on a national stage.

Hey Dean, was this and the other video filmed at the Gatlinburg convention center? If so and I believe they where, I was there. And met with JD. And we became big buddies as he called. Let me know. Thanks for the video.

We need this today. I lost 2 of my sons 42 and 44 between covid and the vaccine....I only get through each day remembering the great times and the hope that we will all be together again. I SURE HOPE SO. Wonderful song.
