Looks like the teacher had a perfect set of anecdotal notes not only on the child but also for the principal’s non compliance and ignoring her warnings. Good for her. It shows that the teacher was trying to do her job. Maybe the child could have gotten some help if only the administration took teacher serious.

Everyday stay dealing with Chuckies and Chuckettes in middle school‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ They let these kids getaway with so much. They get NO discipline accountability or responsibility at home...then come to school for more of the same from no backing/support from Admin and/or the district or school board.

Sadly I am seeing lots of kids with serious issues and administrators don't move quick enough to remove them from regular classes. They are a danger to more than test scores.

I'm glad. They tries to say it was an occupational hazard and she should have gotten worker's comp. Where does it say a kid will shoot you in the classroom or have a gun. She is suing them and they fired her last summer because she didn't come back to work🤦🏾♀️ Umm sorry Mr/Mrs School District but she is still not able to use her hands. Good they need to indict half these administrators who don't listen and stuff happens. Like teachers getting beat up.

This is exactly why I left the school system in 2016. No other teacher or administrator took what I said or the behavior of the children seriously. There were so many elementary school children who I observed and reported were cutters and nothing was done. There was something wrong with them and it went unchecked.

He is a friend in my head. The struggle is so real. I'm fortunate that my students don't really test me, but some of my coworkers probably have PTSD from the abuse. Most of it comes from admin...allegedly.

Man, you are so good at this! My husband and I are both teachers (different schools/grades) and sometimes we get seriously bogged down with, well, everything. Occasionally we watch your stuff together and you bring humor to the shit that really sucks. It doesn’t make our stuff better but it sure as hell helps! Thank you! 🫶🏻
