Same.. still trying to find a legit example... Banachek didn't set up shit and did that w ONE hand, with a Real fork, now in the possession of Mr. Rogan.

So its all about manipulating the forks ahead of time. Depending where you weaken, you can it that weakened part of the metal with the "sleight of hand" and you got your magic. Banachek had 4 forks and probably had each one rigged with a different kink in the metal - or 2 forks for 2 different bend tricks.

He told Rogan how it was done, just didn't give him the step by step details. Banachek said it was slight of hand and all of his stories about fooling scientists involved pre-bending metal a head of time. The fork rogan choose Banachek to bend was swapped out with slight of hand for a pre bent one.

Kurry Stap I think so too because Joe Rogan didn’t ask, he told him, give me THAT fork and Stephen ignored him.

it's demon magic you idiots. Joe Rogan was scared shitless when he realized the truth of Banachek.
This trick so lame.. even magician himself looks embarrassed at the end.
do restaurants allow ppl do this??
I liked, have me a good chuckle
There must be a faster, more subtle way. A guy did it in front of me with my own cutlery. He did a 360 twist. I tried with others from the same set, but did not succeed. One thing he told me, is that he chose a particular model from all the ones I had. I guess certain types are easier than others!?
This vídeo is a cool
This is the worst demo of all. Leave it to the professionals like Banachek!

yes!
Great way to fuck up someone's cutlery.
I have a question about a trick I've seen which i assume would be very hard to perform. This person I know will take ANY, ANY fork at all that you give him and instantly twist the pointers, prongs, tines, the triden things lol, without fail or a brand new spoon bent instantly that you can give to him right in front your eyes!

Next time give him a fork, and don't let him do anything else other than twist it and I mean nothing else not shake spin adjust position anything other than twisting it, he's probably missdirecting you while he pretwists it.
ashole
Huh?
This is fake banacheck did it live today

Better rewatch the clip of Banachek performing that trick, pretwisting is the only way, when you do it and how is the only difference, Banachek only says watch after he's hidding the already twisted part, all he does next is pretend he's twisting it in the moment by spinning the fork and revealing the knot, it was probably easy for him to do it since neither the camera or Joe were paying attention to him at the moment. Learn your Magic fundamentals. palm, ditch, steal, simulation, load, misdirection, and switch. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hnymk8ltn824h8Y.html By the way he uses a tool to do it easier and faster. There are people that twist it in front of you but that requires palming the tool and literally twisting the fork with your other hand which is almost impossible without a tool so it still looks impressive.

OMG you guys, the fork is PRE BENT. Its all about how the 'magician' reveals the fork. If you pay attention to the freaking video, the guy says himself this is just in prep for the trick. re-watch the podcast you can tell Benecheck is just revealing / rotating an already twisted fork a certain way so they can't see the bend in the metal.

@@lj1643 what about when he asked Joe to hold each end? Obviously that wasn't bent. I was on a magicians forum and they're saying the silverware he uses isn't pre bent but they won't tell how it's done, they just keep saying once you find it out you'll be disappointed because you probably still won't be able to do it as there's a lot of skill involved. One of them said that there's some silverware that is easy to bend at a specific angle and this is what he's using... Banachek buys this silverware online off of people because they are rare. I'll leave the website in minute and you can check it out yourself.
