As an aside I firmly believe that if you offered a medieval smith his choice of only one modern power tool, any smith worth his salt would choose an angle grinder. A gas torch would be high on the list, but in the end the grinder would win.

Oh my gosh, that is just PERFECT! I haven't seen an owl done before, that looks so good, I can't wait to try it out myself! And this is one of the rare animal designs that doesn't require a forge weld to make. Fantastic job!!!

It is not a chisel. It is a steep angle sharp type tool for detailing work. It is supposed to be used hot. Glad you enjoyed!
