Make sure not to forge the tail too thin. Could consider forging them out of 1045 / c45, just make sure to anneal them after.

Blacksmithing is Sculpture in Steel, regardless of what is being fabricated. Glad to see a resurgence of the art, tens of thousands taking the hammer and tong to the anvil and producing a plethora of goods for the masses.

I took a piece of old steel rebar and thought up a way to make a rams head for a coat hook....watching this makes more sense even though what I did came out good....great job and yes you have to split them even or one will break 😃 Thanks
