If Barak-8/MX be modified as an AAM, the range and lethality will both get doubled. The Israeli AWACS can use it for its self-defense instead of the unguided chaffs and decoys. Even for offensive roles, the AWACS can add a launching-bay, from where it launch scores of such deadly missiles, for both defensive and offensive roles

Shortlisted for Finland with David's Sling. I think Barak MX is superior. Integrates seamlessly with NASAMS 3 too, right? And pretty much any radar, including passive radar? And satellites? And, with Arrow 2/3, should Finland decide to buy those VERY expensive missiles? Yeah, we definitely need this...

Barak 8 is like patriot. This is like s400. I don't mean performance. I mean it uses multiple types of missiles for different purposes instead of having one missile.
