What a way to finish out a Friday green beetle for the win.

I hope you can appreciate how much your vidios mean to guys like me.Wish you put out more but what a pain in the rear it must be to make them.Love the fact that you show your screw-ups.After 20+years I'm still waiting for perfection!haha Thanks again for what you put out!!!
Wow! That turned out fantastic. What an epic creation. Appreciate all your work putting your video together and posting it for the world to see. 👍👍👍
I paused the video at 16:23 to stare at the blade and the pattern up close. The longer I look, the more detail comes out. This knife is a work of art!
Hey, NordVPN you're going to have to pay this guy more for us to listen to you
It would be interesting if you actually did a Twist Damascus with the rods since you forged then by canister. But in all seriousness it was a neat pattern.

My thoughts exactly; I really like the look of the twisted steel.
Experiments are fun. Don't stop because you are learning every time.
First time watching you, Steve. The Ghost of Sparta is pleased. You have pleased the Gods.
I don't care who says what, you're one of the best blacksmiths on youtube.
Love the voice overs and sounds of your machines. Glad to find a channel without elevator music in the back ground.
Man I am supposed to be editing a video and now and instead I spent 17:08 minutes mesmerized by your video! Thank you Steve it was truly awesome. I don't know which pattern I liked better because they both rocked! A+

@@GreenBeetle in fairness, I think I could probably stand to look at your knives for 10-15 minutes, just by themselves, at the end of the video, so, I don't think you can take all the blame for not showing the knife long enough hahaha
Beautiful blade. Nice work. I'm thinking that pattern would look great on a larger blade like a Bowie or a Bushcraft style blade. 👍
That's a cool pattern. I want 10.
I hope you feel all your hard work was justified, because I think it certainly was! I really appreciate how you thought your way out of problems, and I must say your solutions worked better than the ones I was thinking of would have. Keeping the cutting edge centered is often a real problem even with a hydraulic press, but your way worked beautifully.
And Steve, I do love the way you forge most of your edge instead of creating a bar and spending 4 hours at the grinder. It's been a pleasure over these four years or so watching you get better ( and me getting better, albeit at a far slower rate than you! ).
Wow! Amazing outcome. That pattern is awesome, with the perfect handle to cap it off

Cool trick with CA glue! The knife turned out beautiful, almost seax-like.
Really nice keeping the cutting edge centered. That pattern is interesting with how you developed it. Impressive blade! The universe has smiled upon you :)
Oh man, such a shame about that crack, that first knife is glorious. The second one is pretty dang nice too. :)

Also, I wonder what it would be like to lay the rods laterally in the canister instead of flipping them later. Would that be too boring?
Wow Steve! The knife came out beautiful, and I love that pattern! Great job Brother! 😎👍🏻⚒️🔥
Never a disappointment! Quality knives every time!
That is an absolutely gorgeous pattern! I wasn’t expecting the end result
That May be your best Damascus so far. Good work.
Good Lord man, that's beautiful!! Well done. I just finished a knife this morning for a customer. I think mine turned out good. He was happy with it and the sheath. Then I see what you've made and I'm like....🤯
I love the commentary on these so much.
A really, really beautiful blade and knife. It's a treat listening to your voice-over in the video. Great work on the knife. I have never made a knife, but after watching your video, it feels like I could do it.

Steve, you've made some damn good looking knives over the years I've been watching, but this one takes the cake. That's a damn beautiful knife.
I learn more from Steve than any other blacksmith I watch. He ain't afraid to show what works and what ends up failing.
The purple burl...Im in love. Great match
That pattern is stellar.
I love how you deal with the universe poking you in the eye.... Love watching these, hell even my wife suggested I get into it, but I know I would not respond well to such events... the universe and I have a long running hate/hate relationship, so I am here watching you.
