Forging a Damascus Short Sword - Burt Foster Collab Part 2

This is part 2 of the collaboration that I am doing with Burt Foster. Burt is the Master Smith that has had the largest influence in my current style and growth as a knife maker. Both in craft and friendship he has been extremely generous to me. This video shows the process of me forging my piece of Damascus that we forged in part 1 into a very large knife (or short sword. I reveal the Damascus pattern and it is a beautiful combination of the two patterns we decided to make. I am extremely excited to see what Burt comes up with for his blade.
