Seagull do some great looking watches with original designs and goods specs at amazing prices. I agree that this one's a little beauty! I think it looks best on that vintage full grain leather strap. Many thanks for another great video 👍

It does, I think my favourite is probably the mesh. It looks killer on them all though in my opinion. A very pretty dial
$100 = £80 However since this review was made, in a matter of hours, the price has gone up to £130 ($160) So the price including taxes and shipping is now knocking on the door of £200 in the UK, or in other words, the price of a mint used Seiko SRPD, and a ton of other quality watches. I really like this watch but am getting a bit sick of clicking links only to find that the price stated in the review is way off what's actually being charged.

When I was making this video, the watch was on sale for around $100. Of course since then the price has gone up. As always with these aliexpress watches, I always recommend waiting till the sales start and picking them up then. Usually you can save a good £20-30. I think the £200 is a little bit of an exaggeration but I get your point. Even at £150 I still think this is a great offering. The dial is just stunning.

@@TopTierTicker I said knocking on the door of £200. I don't know what AE charge for shipping but with VAT I would imagine the total isn't going to be far off £170. That's more expensive than the amazing Sea Gull 1963 chronograph. I'm not knocking this watch. It looks great and if it really was under £100 shipped I'd have snapped it up.

Great looking Sea-Gull!
Just looking up chinese made watches (With the likes of NH35A, Myiota or Seagull movements) and they are absolute steals for the money + add o touch of rarity to any collection, given that not everyone knows about them. This one especially is a really nice dress watch I see myself buying. Although, for some odd reason, the watch is more like 200$ on the link you provided.

Indeed, some absolute gems on aliexpress. For me though, sea-gull sits at the top of the most desirable. The history and the fact they produce their own movements... Class

180€... far from $100... Similar to the price of the seagul 1963! What's the point of saying it costs $100? The Orient Bambino has cheaper (and somewhat) better options

The watch is currently back at $100. I do not control the price of these Ali sellers. As of the time of recording it was $100 and now is again. When watching reviews of Ali watches, I always recommend waiting for the best price.
Nice just brought one of these round about 80 quid ... and now i play the waiting game....

Keep an eye on it, wait for a sale. It's hard to predict these prices and shady things go on with aliexpress so be patient and you'll get a good price.
Cool dial, but compared to the case designs and finishing of other Chinese watches, not great.

This watch has something that those others don't have, genuine history with an original design. This isn't a direct homage to any particular model, it's a take on a genre of watches. From a manufacturer who does things right and has a big impact in the watch world. Not every watch has to be able value for money, sometimes it's about looking at the details beyond the specifications that makes a watch so good.

@@TopTierTicker I wasn't talking about homages. Given that Sea Gull at least has a history, even if it started with an import of Swiss machines - but this watch looks cheap to me except for the dial. My opinion, everyone can have a different one.
Wear a hockey puck instead.
THIS is perfection.... by far more interesting than ANY Bambino....
