I was fortunate enough to score a pair of the OWS earbuds, from Oladance, to test, and I can say that if these are anywhere near as good, soundwise, they are magnificent! I called them an orchestra in my ears, and they are incredible to use, from point of view of ease of control, and battery strength (extraordinary!!). Best of all, so clear, so crisp and sooo comfortable that - despite the weird shape (at first) I forgot I was wearing them numerous times. Still my go-to headphone of choice, and I’m off to look at getting a pair of these sports for my son, who is a sports science student. Thanks for a great and informative honest review.

I’m excited to try these. I have Oladance’s Wearable Stereo 2 and their recent OWS Pro, but I like the idea of tactile buttons and a neckband like my old Shokz bone conduction headphones (I still get some ear fatigue from the OWS Pro just hanging on my ears). I just tried out Soundcore’s Aerofit Pro and liked that they had the optional neckband, but returned them due to sound quality issues, so I’m hoping these might be the ones I need.

Hey Mark, thanks for your videos - I love your style. Can you tell me what it would be like using these if you wear glasses? I notice there could be an issue with the way they connect to your ears etc

Just got mine in. Had them preordered a few months ago. One nice extra which nobody mentioned yet, is that you can use them in a walkie talkie mode too, which seems really handy if you go out cycling with friends who have a compatible (Oladance only?) device.

I've been using oladance for a couple years now, love the OWS pro though I find the touch controls super finnicky, defiantly backing these for the tactile buttons and the neck band just a little more secure.

There's only one reason I'm exploring options other than the bone conduction earphones I've been using for several years. Where they rest on top of my ears I experience pain when the stems of my glasses are in place. This is why I'm exploring ear-cuff form factor open ear devices. I'm skeptical that any product that rests on top of my ears wouldn't cause this same discomfort. I wish some reviewer would address this issue, but haven't come across anyone that does.

I have the Oladance OWS Pros, but wear glasses and once I was used to the (at first) weird shape and getting them on my lugs, I forgot I was wearing them, when wearing my glasses. I still do!

How did you find the bass - is it compromised compared to in-ear designs? I notice Oladance states their team comprises "core members of the Bose R&D team who specialise in sports earphones" - which sounds good to me. No indication of price on the website yet though...

The headphones give me headaches, and the in-ear irritates my ear canal. I had a pair of Shure that I got the in-ear custom-made, but still, I have not found a pleasant way to listen to some music, perhaps this is it.

HMM proprietary charger is annoying. I wasn't too impressed with my OWS Pros, liked the OWS 1 better. I still like my Shokz. Though, discovered the TOZO open ears and those are amazing, while also being like 1/5 the price of the Pros. Also, if they're not offering two sizes like the Open Run Pros and I even think the base Open Run... then I can't buy them, since I needed the Large in Open Run Pros to fit my massive head.

This video is not a good advertisement. A lot of questions in the comments are not answered. Mark, you haven't answered the question about comfortable wearing glasses on top of these headphones. One more important problem is a unique charger! Why there is not a C-type?

If only I had the time, mate. They’re very comfortable while wearing glasses. As for no USB-C charging, that’s a question for the manufacturer (this isn’t an advertisement). Thanks for tuning in.
