    Awesome project/job! I worked for a furniture manufacturer that would make custom projects. We used to have to make our own bending jigs to make what the customer wanted. The ones you made for your scroll work are the same as we made ours. They don't have to be pretty, just need to get the desired shape you want. Keep up the great job.

    Absolutely love this Mr. Ethan. I like the idea of fabricating specialty tools and jigs as well. Anything to speed up the process of producing multiple pieces that are nearly identical. I always enjoy seeing increase in speed as a result of the tools and jigs. Watching this makes me want to try my hand making a hummer or two!! Thank you for another delightful video. Oh yeah I hope you make a little profit too! 🤙🏼

    Very nice design. 😀👏 For the finish, why are you not applying the linseed oil while the iron is black hot? It cooks the oil instantly and gives the job a lovely black, shiny and durable finish. I'm sure your venture will pay for it's self.

  • @BlazingEmberForge

    @BlazingEmberForge

    Thank you! :) And as far as the finish... It being more durable when applied hot is actually a new one on me! I'll have to give that a go. But for use with inside plants, I've found a thin coat cold does the job, and I actually prefer these without a black finish myself. But it's just a matter of taste. Thanks for watching and the kind words!

    Thank you. It's a no-name 1952 power hacksaw. 👌 Modern bandsaws, probably even small ones, are definitely more accurate and faster.

My goal with starting this channel was originally to show people what I was capable of, and the possibilities that forging has in the art sphere, which is much more my passion. I definitely haven't been very intentional with that, but I'm planning to swing back around. :) Glad it shows!
