You know why we feel goosebumps when PITTA(soprano) sings? Cause his voice is from heaven! He had never been trained musically before(he was a research chemist), but I think the amazing talent inside of him urged to apply to "Phantom Singer 2", even though he had no musical background! In "Phantome Singer", most applicants are professionals in vocal music, and PITTA didn't even read the musical characters at that time. So, he looked so nervous, surrounded by many famous singers, I remember. But, when he started to sing, the whole studio(the judges and competitors) were in the state of shock! (I was watching that TV show, and I literally dropped my spoon when he sings!) He had a perfect pitch, that's why he could sing by listening not by reading the musical notes. During the TV audition, he did both working as a research chemist and preparing TV audition. He even had to commute from Busan to Seoul(about 3~4 hour distance), cause his company was in Busan. I sometimes thik, if PITTA had some musical training since he was quite young, he would be one of the top opera(or rock) singer at this time. Forestella(PITTA) is my gem! 😍

Yes, "White Night" is FORESTALLA's latest original and it's gorgeous. I think especially the duets between Kang HyungHo and Ko WooRim (soprano/bass) give the song something even more special. Also the lyrics are very profund and thematically fit exactly to "Save Our Lives" and "Utopia". And for me expresses hope and reconciliation. This song is so catchy und beautiful I listen to it all the time.

I am obsessed with this song, so motivating and uplifting, just vocal and instrumental perfection! Thank you Fil, I definitely wanted to hear your thoughts on this ❤.

I knew you because of your Dimash reactions, I'm so happy you're reacting to Forestella too! I knew of them just a couple of months ago, when YT recommended me one of their videos, and they've quickly become my favorite group, their harmonies are crazy. About what you ask about this song, it's not a cover, it's an original song, but they didn't write the lyrics (as far as I know) though one of them (Kang Hyungho, the one that always sings the high notes) did part of the arrangement. If you want to listen to more of them, I think you'd enjoy their covers of Nella Fantasia, Warriors, If I leave, and Champions. Again, thank you so much for reacting to them! They deserve to be better known :)
