Yes, Forestella is not necessarily mainstream. These guys are just doing their thing. They are very creative and keen to experiment, with the courage to be different. This is clearly evident here. (Theatrical? YES, but "wanting to stand out?" doesn't suit to them). It is simply a stylistically very unusual selection of various genres and singing styles and fits the context of the lyrics. Musically it might not be for everyone. For me, it's refreshingly different and very artistic, also in terms of emotional expression.

Thank you for your amazing reaction to Forestella again! This performance was for the 1st round of Phantom Singer All Stars. (I'll say PSAS) PSAS could be filmed because serious covid situation made every concert canceled. For that reason they had online audience and a few celeb guests only. All the finalists groups from 3 seasons were invited and each round had a specific themes. Forestella is the 2nd season's winner. Each season has 3 final groups and all the final 9 groups were invited to PSAS. The celebrity guests and online audience voted to someone they liked. There were 7 rounds with different theme. But one theme was solo performance representing the group and one theme was seasons' match. So each group had 5 songs as a whole group. They competed on the themes given and sometimes compete as solo, as member-changed quartet or duet in this show. The theme for the 1st round was making stage representing the own originality of themselves. As you saw they showed their originality like this. And I felt the lyrics was what they're talking to each other because they came through tough times together for years and share strong bond among them. BTW I got chills when I came to know the time was going backwards! See the clock face was reversed. These genius artists made me imagine a story about the Time in a bottle this way. Every time they make me love them even more than ever!

Оригинальная песня написана автором, когда он узнал о беременности жены, это посвящение еще нерожденному ребенку. Песня камерная, мягкая, песня-размышление. Но Forestella не делает свои номера ради демонстрации вокала. И этот номер яркий пример создания шедевра. Если смотреть на номер в целом, то оформление сцены придает очень глубокий смысл песне: циферблат часов перевернут, стрелки идут в обратную сторону. Глубокий, мягкий бас в начале песни - философское подведение итогов жизни, часы покрыты мхом, приглушенные цвета. Пронзительный крик в конце песни - это первый крик новорожденного ребенка, пришедшего в этот мир, чистый белый циферблат и отсчет заканчивается за секунду до... Ну а в жизни - цвет, свет, рок-н-ролл. Сумашедшая динамика! Такая яркая жизнь. Forestella - гении, создающие шедевры.

Una tra le reinterpretazioni che preferisco dei Forestella. Notevole il controllo vocale di Pitta. Dopo tante cover passerei ad una loro canzone originale. "Save our lives" è la prima di una trilogia, sarebbe interessante una sua analisi.

FORESTELLA is very versatile and is constantly evolving. They have always been pretty self-sufficient, now comes the next level. Their latest creation "Snow Globe" is a composition by PITTA (Kang HyungHo) and the arrangement and vocal arrangement by all members together. PITTA is not only an outstanding singer, but, as this new song proves, also a first-class and very versatile singer/songwriter. He will be pursuing more solo activities next year (like Cho MinGyu and Bae Doo/Hoon taking on the role of Mark in the musical "Rent") and PITTA's new album will be released early next year. I definitely recommend “Be Free” (rock with “Muse” vibes) and “Smog” (rock/pop) from the last album. As expected, very complex and profound - first class

Thanks for your honesty reaction. I particularly liked the twist in the song's interpretation and the rollercoaster ride that came afterwards but even with your disappointment with it you kept your technical evaluation and this add a lot to the way we look at Forestella’s performance. Sono fantastici, epici, mi danno sempre un sacco di brividi! Io spero che questo tipo di musica, dove si mischiano vari generi musicali e con voci notevoli (non solo loro ma anche Dimash e altri) prima o poi prenda il sopravvento sulle canzoncine commerciali e insipide che ultimamente si sentono ovunque. J'adore tout ce que fait Forestella et aussi vos réactions aux artistes . Juste une remarque tous les artistes ne mélangent pas les styles juste pour impressionner lors d'un concours .Après tout Forestella est un groupe crossover . C'est pareil pour Hua Chenyu sa première présentation au concours singer 2018 etait une chanson autocomposée de l'album 2017 donc déjà c'était un artiste très versatile . Riascoltandola mi aggrada un po' di più. Ma ciò che prediligo in questo pezzo è la loro interpretazione comunicativa a discapito di quella vocale che in questo brano a mio parere non li valorizza completamente. Miglior interprete, senz'altro, Bae Doo-hoon, che è poi colui che ha un background da attore teatrale e non solo. Mi piacerebbe ascoltare brani come Mama, Champions, Scarborough Fair. Grazzzieee 😊
